I've been having a rough week with my skin/hair and sciatica pain. Thought I'd ask some questions to see what my fellow pregnant ladies do/have done with similar gripes and if anyone has anything else they want help with, maybe we can all get our gripes out and get some answers, hah!
1. Just like with DD, my skin has not been great during this pregnancy. Wearing a mask so often isn't helping and a lot of my breakouts are on my lower cheeks and jawline. Admittedly, I haven't been doing much for my skin recently because my normal routine is well, smelly, so my stomach hasn't liked it. I usually use some apple cider vinegar mixed with water as a toner in the morning and use coconut oil in the evenings if my skin is dry. Last night I did do a clay face mask with some ACV and my skin does feel and look better this morning so maybe I just need to suck it up and use my old routine? My skin is pretty sensitive so if anyone has any suggestions on treating/preventing pregnancy break-out, share your secrets. I'm also breaking out on my chest and back more and ugh, it just has me feeling so bleh.
1a. I haven't been wearing much or any make-up to try and help with the break outs (and because you can't see most of my face for most of the day anyway so what's the point?) I usually use tarte foundation but it feels so heavy lately. I tried a covergirl BB cream but I'm not impressed and I think it's making my skin worse. Any suggestions on light BB/CC cream type things?
I have more questions, but it was getting rambly so I'll stick to this for now since I suck at skincare and make-up the most!

My job is currently work from home so I've been taking advantage of rarely wearing makeup. I mostly just wash my face. So my skin circumstances might be luckier than yours.
I use lemongrass spa foundation (a natural company)

Have you tried straight witch hazel instead of ACV as a toner? It's definitely less pungent.
I personally love my CC tinted moisturizer from Senegence (full disclosure, it's the MLM that sells Lipsense- I don't sell it. I hate MLM but haven't been able to find anything else that works as well). It's very lightweight, moisturizing, doesn't make my skin breakout, and the way it's packaged makes it so you get to use ALL of the product.
I set it with a dusting of Mac Studio Fix pressed powder and I feel like I still have a very natural look- you can still see my freckles but not all the blotchy redness. I like that this is buildable coverage.
Thanks for the advice! I do actually have some Thayer's witch hazel, so I'll try that for the next for days and see if it helps.
I definitely think I just need a tinted moisturizer but some of the ones I've tried so far feel so greasy. Maybe a pressed powder on top will help with that? Until I figure out a better fix, I'm just going make-up free. I've just stopped giving a damn, lol. I have to wear a mask outside my office but the girls I share a space with literally don't care what I look like, bless them.
