I've done a few different cheesecakes in the instant pot and they are always good!
The steam release usually heats up my kitchen more than my oven does. But so many sources suggest instapot meals for hot days. I don’t get it.
For a birthday, i’d consider something that doesn’t need heat at all - or something like pavlova where the merengue is cooked the night before and only whipped cream and fruit happen on the day of.

Really? The steam release is done in 3 seconds and the oven needs to be on for ~45 minutes with pre-heat and baking/cooking, if not longer. It takes hours for our house to cool down after using the oven on hot days.
Maybe I have a small, well insulated oven? I tend to avoid all heat sources on hot days, but if I have to pick I’ll choose the oven over stove or instapot.
