House staging

We are finally about to list our rental house!! This has been 7 months coming and I am so excited! Luckily, the market is still good, even where it is (45 mins out of Baltimore).

i posted the pictures to this twitter thread (click through to see all of them). Note, the curtain rods have now been hung. Any other tips?

I think it looks perfectly fine. I wouldn't put any further money into it.

Oh, there is no more money going in. Everything is just extra furniture we have or found. They only money thing left is a fence repair. I’m a bit annoyed bc I took my summer coverlet up there.

Looks good! Houses are moving so fast these days I wouldn’t put in additional time or effort. That bookshelf is gorgeous.

I am so in love with the bookcase! I keep looking around my house for where to put the, once it sells. There are 3!!

i am really optimistic. The house is not in a hot area, 45 mins north of Baltimore. A bit far out for commuting. But even in that exurb, once places are only on the market 7-9 days 😳😳  So hopefully, it will be off our plate by the end of September. I have such mixed feelings. I love the house, but hated where it was. I only had a 5 minute commute, which was the only good thing about location. It’s one of those areas where everybody grew up in the county. Not for me...

I love those bookshelves too. But I'm sure my cats would be aholes and knock whatever off so I just lust after things like that.
