we have our recliner chair and sectional couch both from Lazboy. we have had issues with my DHs chair, and they have tried fixing it multiple times, but its just a lemon (it squeaks).
My DH is a bigger guy. 6'4" and likes a big recliner chair.
Any other places to look? Also, for the couch, I like that the end pieces have the recliner/foot piece.
Also, should we do leather or microfiber? We have 2 cats. I usually like the look of fabric better, but its a pain to clean.

They are a very specific look and fairly $$$ but FIL at 6’5” swears by Stressless recliners and ottomans. They have a size large frame available and he has had his set of two (one in his quasi office and one in the living room) for over 15 years. They had them reupholstered when the leather started to wear. I would love to get one as well.
I don’t know about a sectional. Sorry. I will say we have had both leather and fabric with cats and I will always go for leather. The cats have never done much damage to leather but they have utterly destroyed the upholstery on our fabric chaise lounge couch.

We love our Stressless chairs with ottomans. We knew the minute we sat in them we would fight over the chair, so we each got one. We’ve had them two years without any issues/signs of wear and tear.
We have a 13lb Maine Coon cat and she hasn’t messed with the leather at all. She usually naps in the warm leather on sunny afternoons.
Recliner is a must have. I didn't for #1 and #2, I had a lounge in their rooms. had a rocking recliner (recliners for tall people) with #3 and couldn't live without it. she was a shocking sleeper and required rocking for an hour at a time several times a night. I think it depends on the chair though. i found that actual feeding chairs were uncomfortable and hard to breast feed in.
