that is some impressive scope creep! You are going to love it when it is all finished. And I am super impressed as to how much stuff you are able to do yourselves.
I've got some updated pictures! We got the bathroom functioning, but it still needs all of the finishing touches like a curtain, mirror, wall art, etc. We spent some time prepping the living and dining room floors. Like I said above, after we removed the carpet we realized the floor was lower than that kitchen/foyer, so $400 plywood later, we were able to build it up to level. So, the flooring is now finally done. The new baseboard heaters have been installed, we added crown molding to the living and dining room and hope to get the baseboards done this weekend. The doorway leading from the kitchen to the new pantry area is done, and we've gotten all but the old pantry door replaced. We've got just under 4 weeks until Thanksgiving, so I guess it's crunch time LOL
I love this! Thanks so much for sharing! Do you mind sharing the exact details of the floor? I love what your choose and have been looking for something like that!

We haven't gotten too much done this week because my H overworked himself and got sick. So, he's taken a few nights off this week which I'm totally fine with him doing. We did get the new paint on the walls last weekend, so that was definitely a good item to check off the list. I'm loving the light and airy walls with the darker floors.
I'm having a hard time finding shades for the front window. H and I both really want an inside mount so that we can skip curtains and also show off the new trim, but we're only working with about 1/2-3/4" of depth and I'm having a hard time finding something that will work. I have an appointment on Tuesday at the blind store and they recommended that I look at either Honeycomb or Cellular blinds, because even though the header is deeper than the space I have, the brackets should fit in the space that I have and that style wouldn't have a huge gap on the sides like regular shades would, so we'll see. I was really hoping to just get something stock, but I might have to spend a little more money to get what I want.
We're hoping to work on the fireplace this weekend. I went to the quarry yesterday and picked out the new hearth and that was a fun experience. I ended up going with the Mountain Bluestone and love it. It's got more grey that regular Bluestone and a bit more color variance which I think goes better with the Quartz Ledger stone we chose for the Fireplace surround. I was hoping to have a picture of the electric insert as well, but when it came in the other day the glass was shattered, so we're waiting for the new one.
Oh, and the living room rug came in. Excuse the puppy photobomb 😀

Everything looks so good! And I have to laugh, because I haven't checked this thread in awhile because I was like, "I'm not so interested in a pantry reno, I don't even have a pantry." You need to retitle it "entire first floor reno!" :-D
You have done so much! Looks great. Did you buy the house expecting to reno?
Pretty much. It's a very builders grade 1970's Colonial so we knew that it would need updating. We bought for a great price because it was very livable, just dated. Luckily the second floor just needs a few sprucing up things like doors and trim, though the bathroom needs to be completely redone as it is 1990's in all it's glory LOL After this project is said and done we'll do the kitchen in a couple of years which will be all new cabinets and appliances, but we'll likely just keep the same footprint because it functions well. We still have a lot of outside projects too, but it's more updating things to our liking than things that need to be done iykwim.

The 1/2 Bath is done! I mean, if we’re being picking, it still needs a door knob, but close enough. Sorry the pictures are wacky, it’s a small space so it’s hard to get a good angle for pictures.
I actually replaced the hardware because I wanted gold. Just beware that if you want to do something similar, the handles are 5.5" on center and there are actually not a lot of options for that size, though I did end up finding something on Etsy, it just took a while to come in since they are from China.

Thanks! My bathroom renovation may not happen for a long time, but that vanity could be a great starting point!
