It's been cooler here for sure, and I love it. Its supposed to be in the 60s/70s all week which sounds delightful.
I saw so many people doing their virtual Boston Marathons this weekend and it was awesome. I feel for the people who BQed and trained, or busted their butts fundraising, only to get this huge opportunity taken from them. But I was happy to see so many had villages that made it a big to do. For a mile of my run today I was following a woman running her virtual Boston that had several friends biking and running along side her with signs announcing it was her virtual Boston and cheering her on. There was a definite fanfare about the whole thing and it made me smile.

Fri: 30 minute indoor cycle class Sat: 8 mile hilly run Sun: 50 minute indoor cycle class
It was in the upper 80’s all weekend. It’s supposed to cool down a little this week to the mid-70s. And then maybe even the upper 60s next week. I can’t wait! I love summer, but I’m ready for it to be just a little cooler.
That’s awesome scm1011. There’s just something about witnessing runs like that that really get me in the feels. See also, those staggering finishes when people help each other cross the finish line, little kid races at cross country meets, etc. 😊

Fri: 5 mile run Sat: 60 min Peloton cycle Sun: 18 mile road bike ride solo + 7 mile family bike ride. DS wanted to explore a trail, but we came to the end and it was dirt/gravel/muddy. I need to find out where it goes because I think they want to try it.
Last week was realllly cool here as in highs in the 50's. This week is more seasonal so far but cools off for the weekend.
