Thanks for responding, arielroux ! I’m going to try to take my H to our local store tomorrow, and maybe we will order one. 😀 I still plan to run outside most of the time, but I’d like to have a reliable indoor option when I can’t run outside.
Of course! I am a total Peloton devotee and never pass up the chance to talk up a product, lol. I wish I liked running outside in the winter. Hell, I wish I liked running outside in the summer. There are like 4 weeks out of the year where I find the weather suitable to run outdoors (lol) so a treadmill was practically a necessity for me.
I ordered the Tread! It’s supposed to be delivered in 2 weeks.
So, one thing just as an fyi…The set up instructions say to have the tread on its own circuit and not to use a GFCI outlet because it’ll trip the circuit. I did a ton of research on that because my gym is in my basement, and we HAVE to have GFCI outlets because of code, so having the tread on a regular outlet was not an option. A surge suppressor (not just a surge protector) was recommended as a way to kind of circumvent potential GFCI issues, so I have my tread plugged into this:
Which is then plugged into a GFCI outlet. I also have a fan plugged into this and run both at the same time. I’ve had zero performance issues, and it’s been great. So, this may not even matter if you have a standard outlet for your tread, but I didn’t, so I wanted to let you know just in case!

Thanks! Mine will be plugged into a regular outlet, so hopefully it will be fine. You just reminded me to get a fan!
