Is this weird? My daughter started back at daycare after the covid shutdown back in July and has been ever since. They've been doing such a great job, working hard with masks on, adjusting to new protocols, etc. I was thinking of giving her two teachers something like a $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card or similar as a random thank you. Is this weird? Also now that I am typing this out, I might bring a few dozen donuts for the whole staff to share because they are all working so hard and doing things not necessarily in their "job description".
I don't think its weird, but I Venmoed DS' teacher $$ during the shut down because she went above and beyond with zoom lessons (while being laid off!) so maybe I'm not the best judge lol.

thanks all! I was thinking it might come across as suck-up-y or like I was looking for special treatment for my daughter. I am going to do it tough, so thanks for the encouragement!
It’s not weird. I was thinking about doing a little gift card for coffee or target for Halloween with a note that says Treat Yourself! A lot of parents have been bringing in treats and stuff lately. The preschool usually posts a photo and thank you on fb, so that’s how I know. I feel less pressure to give everyone a gift and want to do something nicer for our teacher because she can’t eat gluten treats others bring in. Plus the teachers are separated all the time with their own stable groups of 10 kids, which has to be so hard and isolating.
