$15. I’ve seen crap sell on selling walls I never thought would sell. If you have no interest, then you can donate. No harm in trying to make some money!
I sell stuff on Facebook all the time. I would post it for $10-$15 just until I had time to go donate it. I don’t donate until I have enough to make it worth the effort to go to the donation center so I often just post stuff to see if it sells while it’s still sitting in my house. I’ve been amazed at what people will buy.
ETA: I don’t post anything for free anymore. I always get tons of responses, but people rarely show up to get it. I have much better luck getting someone to pick up if they care enough to pay for the item.

That's fascinating! In my town, if I post something for free, someone will pick it up same day. When I post stuff for sale, I get people interested but then won't commit to a pickup time or back out last minute. I've stopped posting things for sale unless they are really desirable because it isn't worth the effort. I guess ever town is different.

Are you a member of a Buy Nothing type of group on FB for your area? I have had great luck on that page and have only had 1 or 2 people not come pick up. I especially love it for things that aren't necessarily great for regular donation or things that are bulky/difficult for me to transport.

We have a 'buy nothing' group, and stuff from there tends to move quickly and people are good about picking up, but it is just our corner of our school district (because we were honest about the fact that if we had to drive 10 min. across town, it likely wasn't going to happen, but if it's 2 streets over we will).
But I've had a similar experience with posting for free in the 'for sale' groups...tons of interest and then no one picks up. But pricing stuff for cheap usually gets someone who will come get it that day.
I recently posted a shower head and a light fixture for $10 each and sold them.

If it was two weeks earlier maybe you could get $10 for a re-purposed Halloween decoration, but I think it's "too late" and people will be done making stuff. Try posting for $10, if no bites move to free or donate.

I was a member of one, that’s where I had the most trouble getting people to pick up. Some people would go through and try to get everything they could and then decide later if they actually wanted to pick up. There were also people that wanted stuff, then never had time to pick up. Most often people just quit responding until you realize they aren’t actually going to show up. It was way more effort than it was worth.

That sucks. The admins of the one for my area kick out people who no show without communication. It seems to help.
Honestly, donate it to your local Habitat Restore and get a tax receipt for the donation.
I don't think you'll get much interest for that fixture.
Yeah, no one wants brass light fixtures. When he last donated to Restore we walked through to look for tile, and they had AT LEAST fifty brass light fixtures.
