Well the president is almost decided by the time we start counting votes here so I feel like for the presidential race it doesn't really matter. Last weekend was the first time I've watched TV that wasn't streamed and I couldn't believe all the political ads. DD was also the mask police while watching the football police and kept picking out people who didn't have masks on.
I'll drop mine in the ballot box outside the library later this week.
Our county just announced at least 30% of absentee ballots were misprinted so the machines can’t read them. They will be recreating those ballots by hand with oversight by reps of both political parties. So far it’s anticipated at least 20,000 will have to be hand-recreated so the machine can read it.
Why they can’t just read and rally them manually is beyond me.

That makes me feel sick. I'm so anxious for this to all be over.

I feel like I want to throw up all day long and I think it won't be done until all the votes are counted and appeals are exhausted.
Funny story from a friend who was waiting to vote outside last week. A car pulled up to the line and asked “How long have you been waiting?” A smartass yelled “Four years!” and a bunch of people cheered. In Texas. In a county that 8 years ago proudly called itself “the reddest county in the reddest state in America.” But we voted for Beto O’Rourke 4 years ago over Ted Cruz. It’s amazing how fast our demographics have changed.
