I watched it last night, mostly because one of the big scenes is in my town and I know someone in one of the shots -- NOT being offensive or problematic at all. He's actually really upset he's depicted because he doesn't want to be associated with the rest of the scene.
I feel like those who would get a "wake-up call" from this movie probably aren't savvy enough to understand satire or irony and will see it as funny reinforcement, like the teenage boys mentioned upthread. For those of us who can understand the satire, it's just more of our own propaganda reminding us of how stupid and vile we find those people.
The only things I took away from it was a few laughs, profound discomfort, a deep respect for Jaelise Jones (the sitter), and wanting to see more from the actress who played the daughter.
