Long shot here.. anyone know anything about or happen to have a live edge epoxy river tables? I’ve been eying them for years and really want one, but they’re typically custom made, so I can’t find anything about durability, longevity, etc.
We are.. not the most gentle on our table. Our current one was super cheap (<$400 and made of “wood” but they didn’t know what kind) and has damage just from writing on a paper on it, let alone normal wear and tear.

Epoxy and hardwood could be very durable. It wouldn't show writing marks if it was hardwood. My limited knowledge would be concerning the epoxy. I think some are prone to yellowing with age. I also don't know how it'd hold up to a staining spill like red wine.

The bar in DHs fraternity house in college was wood covered in epoxy and it was old before we got there and still looked fine though you could see scratches....but frat house. I think you can resand them to buff out scratches every so often but wouldn’t take my word for it.
They do look amazing though. The Facebook videos I’ve seen are mesmerizing.
