Anyone know how to get a live person a IRS on the phone?

seeyalater52, do you usually get direct deposit and they sent a check or do you not have bank account information on file with the IRS?  I've been checking for a surprise deposit but maybe I should be on the lookout for a hard check!

Yes! So this is what confuses me, I was looking for direct deposit bc that is what they have on file and we always use. I’ve never even gotten a check from the IRS ever. Maybe it’s because it was for a prior tax year? No idea. Hopefully the magic check fairy comes to you too!!

Any updates from other folks who got stuck in the IRS covid limbo?

We just got a letter today, saying we will receive a check in 3 to 4 weeks!! 🙂
