DD wants fleece pants (not joggers) to wear to and from practice as she wants to just throw them over her leo/shorts. She needs and XS for the waist but needs at least a L for length. We are having the same problem with leggings.
What's your favorite flannel sheet brand? I love flannel sheets for winter but hate the pilling and or DH rips them with his long toenails.
We have had surprisingly good luck with skinny girl pants at Target. We don’t have any fleece ones, but regular sweatpants have tie waists that have at least stayed up.
We also had good luck with Kid Nation sweatpants from Amazon. DD is very skinny (like lower part of bottom quartile for BMI for her age group), and those were long enough and stayed up.
My kids are long and skinny and we have good luck with Target leggings. Off the rack, a 7/8 medium fits their waist and is just slightly too short. So I buy them size large 10/12 and put them through the wash to shrink them. Seems to be working great so far.
ETA - for fleece pants, could you just buy boy's pants for her? I've bought my girls Old Navy boys sweats before. They usually have a drawstring waist. The girls were requesting pants with pockets and I could not find girl pants anywhere with functioning pockets for holding stuff. Old Navy boys sweats were a hit!
I second Old Navy. I also had luck at Osh Kosh in the boys section. Also Lands End pants run really long, I've found. My kids love their fleecy bootcut sweats because DD2 can get them on and off over cleats, DD1 over high top basketball sneakers.
