I have a super small house and my living room is our playroom. My daughter just turned 2 and i'd love to get her a play kitchen for the holidays. I've been looking at what seems like hundreds of options but they all seem a bit too tall. Does anyone happen to have a nice kitchen that is fair short? If it helps I am looking for one that is under 40' tall. Length isn't an important but ideally i'd love it to fairly short top to bottom and side to side. Does this exists? thanks!
My kids have the Hape one pictured above - it was passed down to us when my oldest was 18 months and they still both use it constantly at ages 3 and 6. One of the best toys we've owned!
I almost bought one of these for DS when he was a toddler. You can add water to the sink! I like how it is the size of a few shoeboxes and it can be kept on a shelf. When in use, put it on the kitchen table or counter! There are a lot of different brands/versions, and some at lower price points.
It's nice because the play food takes up a bunch of space too but I put it all in a large clear storage container. Then the sink/stove can sit on that while they play but it can all be put away so it doesn't take up permanent floor space. They sometimes use other stuff (workbench or shelf) as an oven.
a little hard to explain but we have an open concept living room/dining room/kitchen and the kitchen has sort of a bar area. I don't want it to stick out and also come up above the kitchen...if that makes sense?
My parents got this one for DD back in the TRU/BRU days. DS also plays with it and it's pretty small. We also had a giant Step 2 one at our house and DD barely played with it. I gave it away. I guess sometimes bigger is not always better.
Woah sorry that link is huge. I like it though because it can pull out to be bigger, but has a super small foot print. We also have a small house and her “play room” is the living room.
