This is really silly but I have so many questions about the Four Seasons Landscaping thing. It's so odd. Did the employees just let them book their parking lot? If so, why? I mean it's not very common for a parking lot at a landscaping place to be booked in the first place. Were they just confused and said yes? Or did they know it would turn into a big thing?

How did the campaign people make this mistake? Did they not discuss what the press conference would look like with the Four Seasons people?

Oh to be a fly in the wall for this conversation.

It sounds like they TOLD the owner they were coming, and he apparently didn’t object to it.

She said that she wouldn't have objected to any candidate, that it wasn't a show of support for Trump.

Yeah, like....didn't it dawn on them to find a different hotel? Why go to the Landscaping business. I'm so confused as to why they went ahead with it.

Not really. If the final electoral college number was 270-268, I'd be worried, but Biden has a massive electoral college advantage.

Plus, SCOTUS ruled that states are allowed to remove or penalize faithless electors, so that decreases the likelihood.

Finally, Dem and GOP state parties choose the electors, so they're picking loyal party supporters. FYI, Hillary Clinton is an elector. Chances of her switching to cast one of New York's votes for Trump: zero.

This is reassuring.  The elector from 1988 who purposely switched the votes for Bentson and Dukakis was my neighbor for awhile, so it's always something that I think about.

1. Work is interesting with how people avoid talking politics.

2. DH was following the results all week and had no clue how Gritty was involved. Any one else know someone following results that missed all the Gritty fun?

I wouldnt let them have a presser on my property either, but it doesn't bother me that they did. It's not like it was a rally, and it turned out to be such good joke fodder.

Something that I read about it made it seem confusing all around. The owner couldn't figure out what exactly they were doing from what they said, or why they wanted to have it there.

I keep thinking that someone suggested The Four Seasons, and someone said that it shouldn't be the one close to the convention center, since they had had problems with disruptions during interviews in that area over the past few days.. So they do a search for Four Seasons (without hotel), picked a location on the map and tweeted the address, only to end up there. lol

They are right leaning. I think its just a political news and polling aggregator. They probably never called PA.

Thanks for that link. I responded to two of the posts who were cheering PA being uncalled, and the one person deleted the entire thread and the other has gone silent LOL
