Sooo....say the Senate does end up 50-50. I know the VP is the tiebreaker but who gets to be the majority?
It can’t ever be 50-50 because Bernie is an independent. I swear to all that is holy, if McConnell is majority leader because Bernie changed his status back to independent after claiming he was a democratic to run for president, I will...not handle it well. (There are two independents that caucus with Dems, aren’t there? If they were both Ds, would we possibly be looking at the majority? Can they switch??)
Clearly I know nothing about how the senate works, so if this is all wrong, I apologize.
Yes fucking Angus King from ME. Ugh I didn’t even think of this. I think caucusing is what counts, but FUCK BERNIE ANYWAY.

I stepped out of this thread after three jello shots to continue to work on my CE for my license renewal and came back to four glorious pages of entertainment. I'm still debating whether to call it a night or keep on keeping on in hopes that something great comes out of tonight.
My neighbor/friend who recently came out as a Trumper (as she claims thanks to California COVID lockdowns) texted me and asked me if we could have a socially distanced coffee date in the morning for the new Starbucks reusable cups and to catch up.

Has anyone else tried Brewsy? Apparently COVID gave me a new home brewing hobby and this is super fun. So far I've made three batches and it's legit fun.

So I know it is going to very close, but the way PA has trended ALL day. Couldn’t it be called by now? I feel like they call states all the time without all the votes in. Don’t we know enough about PA? They are going to make us wait, huh.

(I have a coupon/referral code for 15% off if anyone wants it - PM me).
We started home brewing too. We’re not super fancy and don’t do all grain, mostly extract and partial mash. What is brewsy?
They're pre-mixed brewing bags with yeast and other brewing goods to drop into juice (like, store bought juice bottles + added sugar for the yeast to eat) to make wine or cider. You put their burper stopper in and park it in a warmish spot in your house and shake a few times a day for 3-5 days. From there you cold crash and then repour/re-rack. It's drinkable after five days - my better brews are 10+ days out - but $40 gets you 4-5 gallons of booze. Their Facebook brewers group has been super helpful. getbrewsy.com/pages/how-it-works
I was going to go to sleep because so was Steve kornacki. He decided he wants to be awake for now, so maybe I do to? I think he thinks something significant may happen yet tonight.

Ooh that sounds low key and easy. I really want to try to make mead, I’m pretty sure we got enough honey this year to give a pound or two to it.

That’s exactly where I am. I was about to go to bed but when Steve Kornacki returned I stayed.

I wonder if they’re just being extra conservative at this point because of all the madness that is going on right now. I wonder who will call it first.
