Yes! Everything I'm seeing still says Duval went blue. I'm shocked. I'm in the Jax metro area, but in a different county, and this gives me so much hope.

Although it looks like Donna Deegan (D) lost to asshat incumbent Rutherford (R) for our House seat.

Biden is underperforming in Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Too early to assess enthusiasm among Latinx voters but I’m wondering if that’s the connection with Miami-Dade here and if we will see similar numbers in other areas with large Latinx populations.

I was in the Peace Corps and our ballots didn’t arrive in time. One of my fellow PCVs and I watched the results roll in from her bedroom. (She was from WY and joked that her family represented all of the Democrats in WY.) We were gutted by FL and struggled to explain to our community how anyone wasn’t voting for Gore.

They have been talking about watching this (and AZ) to determine if Miami-Dade is mainly Cuban/Venezuelan driven or if it is overall Latinx, which is obviously a bigger problem.

So far I’ve seen Biden doing better when compared to 2016 except for southern TX...which is weird to me.


But also I feel like most of these results aren’t valid until the mail votes are counted/reported.

still super early. 

a positive update from our Secretary of State: more than 18k NEW voters registered, AND VOTED today, primarily in Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Ann Arbor. Detroit and Ann Arbor are solid Dem. Grand Rapids went for trump by 10k in 2016.

We have same day registration and voting....holding my breath...
