I’m not loving the use of dump in reference to ballot counts coming out. Joe Gloria keeps using on CNN, lol. What about a batch will come out? A ballot drop? Dump dump dump
Same with the phrase "new ballots" on msnbc.
These aren't new ballots. They're uncounted ballots. We all know what it means, but keeping our words accurate is important with the other side.
He will be completely focused on these bullshit lawsuits, so nothing “presidential” will be happening from him (not like it ever did). Considering we are in a global pandemic, this is not ideal.
Didn’t meadows admit that they aren’t even trying to fight covid?
So there’s been nothing presidential going on.... ever?
There was an incredibly long and detailed conversation on CNN earlier about the best way to break this news to him. It was exhausting to listen to, but the takeaway seemed to be to remind him of all of his WINNING and success so far, to lessen the feeling that he’s an absolute piece of shit loser now.
I did hear that. Look at all the republicans you helped get elected. See, they don’t hate US. Just you.
Can someone summarize what is going on in NV? I had to join a call right as it was starting and I saw there was some error around the # of ballots remaining to count
When they counted before, their counting mechanism reported PAGES not ballots. The ballots this year are 2 pages. So the number of ballots is actually around 30K.
I’m sorry for those that can’t see tweets. Picture of gritty in some revolutionary war painting I should know the name of.
Art history emergency ...Calling @profartnerd !
(I think it’s Delacroix, Liberty Leading the People - so, not our revolution, one of France’s).
Haha, yes, French Revolutionary image by Eugene Delacroix “Liberty Leading the People”. Specifically related to the July Monarchy, which deposed Charles the...IV? (I’m terrible about numbers honestly)
The theater major in me loved when the press said, "No one wants to break the news to King Lear." Shakespeare in pop culture was my planned research area - and then I chose my ex-husband over a doctoral program.

Historian emergency! It was Charles X. (but, I had to Google to make sure.)

I don’t even go here, but I just wanted to thank you all for these amazing 90+ (and counting) pages. I honestly feel like I’m getting better info here than on the *waves hands around* rest of the internet.

I’m so so bad with numbers! Between kings and popes, man. I usually have a post it on my podium with the numbers on them that I’ll be talking about that day, or I’ll say- hey (reliable student, google that for me— oh wow! Yeah I thought so when I haven’t even said a number).
Tapper pushes back on Dana Bash trying to make it seem like Trump might be accepting the loss, basically softening him. Tapper was like uh nope. First time o ever see push back on the “pivot” idea.
I just rewatched Al Gore's Concession Speech and he was more Presidential in those 8 minutes than Trump has been in the last 4 years. It's a shame we won't get something even remotely like that once the Election is called for Biden.
Al Gore is more presidential in his guest spots on 30 Rock than 45 has been.

I KNOW! On top of that, I want to tell European royal families to stay in their lane. No, France and England, you can't BOTH have Henrys with completely different numbers. And stay away from Charles, you Holy Roman Emperors, there's enough of those in England already. Fine, France, you can keep all the Louises.
