Yarn recommendations?

I could use recs for good, soft, easy to work yarn that wears well. I’ve always bought the cheap stuff and it fuzzes and wears so badly. I’d like to knit my H some scarves to replace the old ones. Help?

I like Cascade 220.
If I want fancy yarn Malabrigo is my favorite.

I like Manos del Uruguay for a slightly less expensive and really nice yarn.

I also love using Madelinetosh for scarves, however I would recommend avoiding their singly ply yarns for scarves, since I don’t find it is very hard wearing (or does fuzz up).

Cascade is a great budget option, particularly for solid colours and heathers.

Manos del uruguary! Love that yarn. Neighborhood fibers is also a great company (and local-ish to me)

Do you have a pattern in mind- or a yarn weight? Do you have fiber preferences (allergies)?

Malabrigo Rastita or Worsted are my two fairly inexpensive and beautiful yarn.
