I wasn't thrilled with the product lines HD/Lowe's carried when we replaced ours a few years ago. We went to a lumber/building supplies retailer instead, and got a ThermaTru door.
A Local lumber yard may also carry doors/windows. We ordered our Therma Tru doors (front door with side light and back door) about 5 years ago from a local lumber yard. They also sell milguard windows. Then a local handyman that was one of their “certified” installers painted and installed the doors. You can also find a door you like from the manufacturer and most of them then will provide local providers based on zip code.
Ditto checking with a reputable door and window place. Our neighbor bought a HD door last year and they said it’s already showing lots of wear. Beware new doors can be pricey.

Our contractor got ours through a lumber place but I could go online and look at all the options and get a custom door from Therma-Tru. Of course then I came up with one that was $2800 more than the contractor one! I got rid of the custom paint job and a few other things but overall I'm really glad I didn't just go with the one the contractor chose.
