Good morning and Happy New Year!

What are you doing today?

I am about to do yoga (at home); if it stops raining I may go out and do day 1 of couch to 5k. I am starting fresh with my running!

I am spending day 2 on the couch with a heating pad due to ovarian cyst pain. I am not happy to be spending the first 2 days of the year this way, or 2 of the last 3 days of my vacation. I am praying this passes today so I can get out and do something tomorrow.

January is absolute hell for me at work, so I'm trying to look at this as an opportunity to rest up, but I'd rather be out doing something!

I got in 8 slow, tiny, cold miles. Ugh. I hate running in the rain, and my weather app said no rain today, and yet! I got caught in the rain.

So I’m spending the afternoon warming up in front of my fireplace and reading a book.
