It went downhill pretty fast and I curbed it, but then there was some curveballs thrown I wasn’t expecting about 2.5 hours in. I had to step out. Came back and the big issues came up in hour 3.
Very much unresolved. We were going to meet again next Monday but it quickly became expedited to this Thursday.
I’m sorry, campermom. If it makes you feel better, I’ve been a lawyer for 18 years and I’ve only seen 2 cases finish mediation in one day. It’s not unusual for it to be more than one day, especially when one party is a raving jerk.
This seems like the appropriate thread to say I need a new screename. I think Im just going to offer it bc he wants me to keep it in the driveway and it’s too painful. He told me I could pay for it to be stored somewhere that will deliver it to a site, in the summer months. But then I’d have to look at it everyday the rest of the year knowing this part of my life is gone. You guys I literally have to do a 3 point turn around it everytime I leave my garage. Goodbye. I don’t want it
campermom: I’ve been watching your story unfold and the thing that sticks with me is that you’re setting yourself up to flourish and thrive in this next chapter of your life.
What about: flourishingmom or achievementattained.
Anyway, whatever you choose will be awesome as you write the next installment of your story!
campermom- how about something about YOU that’s separate from him? Like Runningmom or CounselingQueen or just AwesomeMom? I really loved FlourishingMom too.
If no one wants the camper, then sell it and use the money for childcare and something fun for you. I like Runningmom. I've been using book character names for a while.

I think Asshat wants the camper. He just wants her to pay to move it around and store it for him. F a bunch of that business. Right now is an awesome time to sell a camper. You can get a premium for them. So I think I would say “You can have it in exchange for (something you want), but be aware that if the camper is mine, I will likely sell it. And you will absolutely not have any access to it in any event.”
I agree sell the camper if it is yours to do what you want with. I've had 3 random people knock on my door over the last 3 months asking if we wanted to sell ours. If you want to still go camping over the summer I would rent a yurt, tent camp, or piggy back camp with the friends you normally camp with. Kids stay in a tent and you can sleep inside.
If he wants the camper, he has to take it and figure out where to store it. If you get the camper and don't want to camp in it, sell it and use that money for whatever the hell you want! Once it's yours, it's your asset and you can do anything with it. He doesn't get a vote.
