Brought to you by the 30 minute cardio kickboxing class I did on YouTube this morning. It wasnt much of a cardio workout and I considered doing a 2nd but had to get to work. Holy hell, you guys! My legs are so sore I can hardly walk. It's so funny how something that doesn't feel like much at the time can totally kick your butt!
What workouts have you done that snuck up on you and kicked your butt?
Um, just playing the 2 person 60 second mini basketball game with my kids sometimes gets me out of breath, haha. Perhaps if I pushed the pace more when I run that wouldn’t be an issue... but oh well.
I started playing solo tennis (against painted tennis wall at a court) over the summer and found it to be incredibly challenging. Now I know why Serena is so freaking buff.

I did a Barre workout once and it KILLED my legs. I'm a runner and thought as I was doing it, oh hey this is easy, my legs are IN SHAPE. Next day my legs were like, HAHAHAHAHA. I hurt for like a week after it.

Same! I was shocked at how hard a 30 minute fitness blender video could be.
I also went to a TRX class once, just to learn how to use the one I'd gotten for Christmas. I walked in all cocky-Ive been lifting heavy for years and didn't think it would be hard at all. It was an hour long, Tabata style, full body ass kicking. I could barely get off the floor after. Very humbling!
