lol, yup! I looked up a few family members and friends and I also looked up some more of the parenting instagrams I follow. I'm thankful I didn't find any results!

A coworker sent me a link for an article on Buzzfeed about this because I had mentioned it earlier in the week when this thread appeared. They reached out to TCB and someone responded with a (totally basic, dodging actually talking about the issue) statement from Cara:
“Taking Cara Babies is about helping babies get sleep and parents reclaiming the joy of parenthood that’s often lost due to sleep deprivation. Between 2016 and 2019, I made a series of donations (totaling $1,078) to the Trump campaign. As with many citizens, there were aspects of the Trump Administration that I agreed with and some that I disagreed with. I will continue to serve all parents by empowering them with the tools they need to help their babies sleep.”

It did not inspire me to re-follow or to purchase the newborn class I had been strongly considering prior to this. I appreciate all the other recommendations earlier in this thread so we can spend our money elsewhere.

corgimom there are so many sleep consultants out there that will put together a personalized plan for you! I would opt for that over a program like hers.


And I was pleased to see the Home Edit ladies have only donated to ActBlue, same with Young House Love.

A local influencer has made lots of WinRed and a Trump campaign donation so unfollowed her. This is someone I knew personally so really disappointed but I also can't say I'm totally surprised. She hides any political views on her feed but FEC records don't lie

How have I never known about this before?!  This is amazing.

It warms my cold, dead heart to see everyone with my surname (quite uncommon) donating to Move On and Act Blue, with the odd Warren for President thrown in for good measure.

@hiphopanonymous I know how every single person in my husband's family voted (some for Trump) but none donate to any campaigns. Even for my husband, a hardcore democrat, donating to political campaigns is not something he would even think to do. I make the donations and he gripes a bit about it but understands why I do it.

I had no clue who she is and just watched her stories. She came across a bit crazy, but maybe that’s not normal?

pugz, I was watching a Facebook live with The Minimal Mom today, and Dawn and Diana recommended Dutch Sheets who appears to be a very conservative “prophet”. Since they don’t talk politics, I naively thought maybe they weren’t trump supporters. 😢😢😢
