I’ve owned them for several years now. I use a diva cup and wear them as backup the first couple days when my flow is really heavy.
You rinse them in cold water until the water runs clear, then wash and hang dry. I wash them in a lingerie bag with the rest of my clothes.
They work incredibly well. I’ve never had a leak with them even overnight when my cup overflows. They’re very comfortable and don’t bother me like pads do. They get just as clean as my other clothes and don’t smell any more than if you were wearing a pad.
They would be really pricey if you used them as your sole source of protection, but since I use them only as backup, I found the cost pretty reasonable. I own two pairs for overnight and two thongs for during the day. They’re still in good condition roughly three years in.
I think I have 5-6 pairs. Love them so much! I think they're definitely worth it. No smell so far, and I wash with the rest of my clothes (rinse first before putting in the dirty laundry). I have a referral code, but I'm not sure if it gets you a discount or not.

Ditto isabel. I use them instead of liners, so as backup with a disc or for light days.
I own about eight to 10 pairs, mostly because I’m lazy and only do laundry once a week. (I wear two pairs per day; I change them every 12 hours. That feels pretty sufficient as far as cleanliness.) I love them and I’m never going back to pads.
ETA: There are competitor products that might be worth checking out too.
I have one pair that I use as backup for overnight. I keep meaning to buy more. I think they are great, I rinse first in water and then wash in a lingerie bag and air dry. The only issue I have (and this may just have been me picking the wrong size) but I got the cheeky style and on me it's more like a bikini style. Aside from that, I would recommend buying.

I love them. Life changing. I use them by themselves for my whole period. I have 5 pairs and think 7 would be perfect- sometimes I’m a little frantic to get the wash done since I only have two super pairs.
My only problem is I was between L and XL on the size chart so I sized down and they are really tight. But I’m also afraid if I went up they’d be too loose?
“With sorrow—for this Court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have today lost a fundamental constitutional protection—we dissent,”
Got some last summer and really like them. I was also close to between sizes, I went down and they were very tight, so then went up and they are much better. I prefer the hip hugger because they are closest to being full coverage (I even preferred them to the cotton brief in butt coverage) note: I hate cheeky styles. I tried the boy shorts but also hated those (I generally dont like boy short styles in regular underwear either though). They do have a money back guarantee, so you could buy a pair and see if you like and if not they give a refund without making you mail them back (I think its currently for 60 days from purchase, I gave my too small ones to a friend once I saw they didnt make you return them). I would definitely try them out and then wait for a sale if you want more. Washing is easy, rinse then wash as usual, air dry. I was pleasantly surprised at how not wet feeling they were and the minimal odor (maybe even less then a pad).

Definitely size up.
I like the cotton ones the best. I do have a pair of the ones that are high waisted and with the mesh on the sides that are super cute on, and I feel less gross during my period having cute undies on.
I’m probably going to ditch mine. I’ve had 3 pair for about 3 years, mostly use them as backup, and have followed the cold wash then launder, etc, and unless it’s relatively light overflow (while wearing the cup), they leak or seep out the side seams really easily.
There's a decent variety on the website: Classic, cotton, air ... which do you have? and if you've more than one type, which do you prefer?
I have the regular hiphugger, super hiphugger, and the cotton brief.
The hiphuggers look smoother under pants for me. The super hiphuggers are a little too thick for under yoga pants (if it isn’t full when I wake up, I don’t bother to change before I get on the treadmill. But if I was leaving my house I wouldn’t like the look). The cotton ones are comfiest for sleep. I haven’t tried the air yet.

I got mine long enough ago that they only had the Classic style at the time. I do not like the lace band on them. It snags easily and comes unraveled. But the rest of the garment is totally fine. If I was buying them now, I think I would strongly prefer the cotton ones.
I got a pair of the classic hiphugger and a pair of the air bikini. Both really didn't work for me. The absorbent area hits too low (far back?), so I would frequently get leaks up over the top/front, even though I only have a light-medium flow. It says it holds 2 tampons worth but I was leaking in about half the time I usually use for a regular sized tampon.
However, their customer service was awesome and refunded my money when I completed their review survey, so I would highly encourage you to try them if you are interested.

I have 3 pair. They don't work for me alone on heavy days, but are great for light days, to wear alone to the gym during heavy days (and then take off when I shower after), or to wear as backup with a tampon on days when I start heavy but then get lighter. Oh, and also good for just overnight if you are a restless sleeper light me and get leaks because of moving around too much.
They never leak for me, they just feel gross/start to smell (only noticable by me according to my dh and bff) if I wear them alone all day during a heavy day.
My biggest problem is I really like high waist underwear, and the only style they have in high-waist has mesh sides, and I much prefer the cotton of the bikini style, but those hit right at my c/s scar.

I bought a cheapie version of these off Amazon and I love them. My flow is way too heavy to not use a cup or tampon but I used to have to have a pants person for the first 2 days of my period. With the cheapie brand, even with a monumental overflow, at worst all I’ve ever needed to do was change my underwear. And with the cheapies i just wash and dry like normal and it hasn’t damaged them.
I’m too much of a heathen with clothes for special care wear. If I can’t toss it in the washer /dryer it doesn’t belong in my house.

I have the classic, super, and air. The air ones are SO comfortable. Feels like regular underwear. The others definitely feel a little different (but definitely more comfortable than other period options IMO).

I use a generic brand as backup - I bleed way too much to not use a cup. Also, (TMI) I tend to get bronchitis several times a year and on days where I cough a lot, I leak a little. There's really no way to catch that other than wearing a pad, which I hate, so these do the trick for that, too.

I use another brand called Natratouch. They are much cheaper, you get a 3-pack for $23. I just bought my DD several of these as she just got her first period. I don't have experience with Thinx, but these have worked very well for me.
The second link, people said that the underwear 'sounded' crinkly. lol. that went away after a few uses and washes. I like both pairs but if I had to pick my favorite, it's the first link but it's a REAL close race. I do warn you that they kinda fit like granny panties, but that's what I need during my period b/c my flow is just---well its horrible.
ETA: I bought these two years ago and they've held up really well.

They have truly been life changing for me. My periods are very heavy and even at my age I was having close calls all the time. I hated the stress of being stuck in a work meeting and knowing I desperately needed to change my tampon.
I bought a menstrual cup and primarily use Thinx as a back up on heavy days, alone on light days. I started with two pairs because they are so expensive, but now own 6. I do the cold water rinse, laundry bag for washing, and hang dry.
I use a generic brand from Amazon. Highly recommend. I use them for light flow days.
I also have some generics from Amazon that don't absorb, but keep leaks from bleeding through to pants. I use those for backup with a tampon on really heavy days.
If only I had access to underwear like this as a kid. I was always so nervous when I thought my period might come, but was in school. The whole trying to get a bathroom pass, not being allowed to stop at your locker, and figuring out how to carry a tampon or pad when you also aren't allowed backpacks during the day.... Oh my gosh. So stressful.
I have cheap ones off amazon. There is no way with my flow that I could ever use them exclusively. But they really helped with leaks and making messes on my clothes and this to me was a game changer. Especially after children every month without a doubt I would have leaking issues due to my heavy flow before starting using these on my really heavy days.
There is also another company, Ruby Love, that also makes similar products. They are a Black founded and owned company, which is something I've been looking to support more.
I haven't personally tried them, but I know someone who has and she had good things to say.

Ruby love has swimwear! I would’ve tried a pair last summer but pools were closed. If there is any hope of swimming this year I want to try it
