I really don’t want to think about Trump anymore but there will be so much more we learn.
In case you missed the Friday night bombshell, read this. It is bonkers. Someone in the DOJ tried to help Trump overturn the election in GA. He was introduced to Trump by an unidentified PA politician:
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

😱
the first article is scary to me because they’re so nonchalant and methodical about it.
This (from second article) will be juicy to watch unfold: Some Senate Republicans, including Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the minority leader, have grown increasingly worried that if they do not intervene and distance themselves from Mr. Trump, the havoc wreaked by the former president could hurt Republicans’ political fortunes for years to come. The episode amounts to an unwelcome reminder that damaging information around his presidency could continue to emerge even though Mr. Trump is no longer in office.
And Mr. Perry’s role in the discussions could further escalate tensions in the House, where Democratic lawmakers were already livid at Republicans for fanning the flames before the Capitol riot, with some rank-and-file members calling for the expulsion of lawmakers who led efforts to overturn the election. The pressure that Mr. Trump placed on the Justice Department, including any plan that he may have considered to remove Mr. Rosen, also raises legal questions for him.
Trump also pushed DOJ to ask the Supreme Court to invalidate Biden’s win, but his own appointees refused to file what they viewed as a legally baseless lawsuit. An outside lawyer working for Trump even drafted a brief for DOJ to file.
