February projects

What’s everyone working on?  

I just finished assembling my first large quilling project. It will be framed in an 8” x 10” shadow box.

I remember doing some quilling in Girl Scouts when I was in elementary school, I’d love to try it again.
I started a new quilt and am loving working on it so far, plus it’s for ME! I haven’t made a quilt for myself, ever.
Here’s the start, I need a bigger design wall!

I love how the prints are working out- it's almost like colored paper in a window, so pretty! Keep us updated!

I am working on finishing some items. I want to get two pairs of socks completed and a sweater mostly done this month.

Made this macrame wall hanging after seeing similar types going for $200 on Etsy. Made my own for $36 instead.



Gonna try some macrame feathers with the leftover cord.

And I’m currently working on a plant cross stitch.

I did my first HTV t shirt with my Cameo last weekend and made DS2 a shirt. It’s personalized so I won’t post a pic but it was pretty easy and I’m getting the hang of it. I’m still super slow though.

My next project is a hoodie for ds1. I’m guessing it should work just like the t shirt but will watch 1893 YouTube videos first. Haha. Probably why I’m so slow!

All the things, lol. I just finished sewing up a pair of jogger pants for myself. I have some spring apparel items planned.

My SIL has a sweater that I am bleaching then applying vinyl to, for St Patrick's Day.

I am crocheting a tank top for myself and a blanket for my husband's cousin's baby that is due in May. I have some wool yarn I want to dye, then crochet into a diaper cover for E2 to wear at night.

Nice! Was it as easy as it looks? I’ve been weaving on a frame loom the last month and a half and love it. I’m amazed at what those wall hangings go for too .

Yes incredibly easy! As in the hardest part was cutting the cord to length lol

I’m making some art for my sister’s new house with my silhouette and some gold vinyl. She wants black, white, and gold so I’m sending her black frames with white mats for these.


ETA. I finally finished all of them.

Masks that don’t fit my children. I gave up for this week and purchased bespoke brand masks from Kohl’s. But I think I know how to fix these, but need a few days to get over how irritated I am.

shortcake2675 I made a mask of that type based on my measurements and it came out absurdly small. I know I didn’t screw up the seam allowances, I just think something about the pattern sizing is off. Hope you can fix them!
