slide-in ranges

DH and I have been shopping for new appliances as we get closer to doing our kitchen remodel. I really like the look of slide-in ranges, but noticed that the oven vent on many that we looked at points toward the wall. I just know that when I swipe along the vent on my current oven, I end up getting a lot of gunk coming off of it. For those of you that have them, do you have any issue with the wall getting stained?

We had a slide-in range in the house we just sold and had no issues (unless they were behind the range where I couldn't see). We did have a tile backsplash on the portion of the wall that could be seen above the range.

We have one. It hasn't been an issue. First time cleaning it I did cut my finger because I didn't realize how sharp the inner edge of the vent was. Lesson learned!

I have one and haven’t had an issue at all!

So I was not familiar with this term and googled it. It looks like every stove I have ever had in my life. Yes have never had an issue with it.
