Of course she's a quack. She's nothing but a cold reader exploiting people in pain for personal gain.

I haven't watched the show, but I saw an ad where she talked to some kid whose dad died, and was like "did your dad call you chief, buddy, pal, etc" and the kid eventually nodded and cried. Seriously, doesn't take a genius to think that a dad had a pet name for his son. Disgusting.

I've heard people say that they've met her and she's the real deal, but I think you kinda take what you want away from something like that.

I watch it. I'd love a reading with her, see for myself if she asks leading questions. Maybe it's the editing, but I kind of believe it. Well, put it this way, I wouldn't be suprised if she was the real deal. Not a true believer yet, but Id' like to see for myself.

I'd watch her just for the LI accent and LI stuff. She is 100% authentic LI.

i want to believe in here and I actually really enjoy her show. I do wonder, if shes authentic why doesnt she use her abilities to help with unsolved crimes. Or is that just my love of unsolved dramas?

It's not that cold readers ask leading questions but rather that the people being read provide so many clues unbeknownst to themselves. There are plenty of illusionists who have written and demonstrated exactly how they do it. Just like that thing with the kid with the dead dad I mentioned, they throw out lots of generic things and the person will identify what sticks. And then they offer up more information which the "psychic" will use to further claim knowledge. It's merely a parlor trick.

Real. My very close friend was on the pilot episode (the deli one). The woman often goes into my friend's deli and one day when they were filming the pilot, she explained she was doing a pilot episode and that she was getting feelings about this place from my friend's grandmother. They did the release forms etc and then brought out my friend's mom (it's a family business) to talk about about the grandmother. My friend's mom is a really skeptical person and you can see it in her face. But the LI medium said so much that no one could have known, especially about the buttons.

I never believed about that stuff, but I believe now.
