It was a bit of a whim, but everything is refundable so I can always change my mind. It will be me, DH, DD (14), DS(8) and DS(8). This will be our third trip to WDW (but DSs were only 15 months on our first trip).
This trip we're doing 4 days at WDW and 3 days at Universal (first time at Universal). I made reservations for Caribbean Beach Resort with a 5th sleeper and a family suite at Cabana Bay. I know we'll be a little cramped at CBR, but it will be the last time the 5 of us will be able to share a room. Plus I want to take advantage of the Skyliner. We stayed at AOA (once in Little Mermaid and once in a Cars suite) and the worst part was being one of the last busses (furthest walk).
I already made our park reservations (but I might move those around). There's not much other planning I can do at this point. I assume Fast Passes won't be reinstated, but I don't want to do too much research now in case things change.
I learned on our last trip that we are not a rope drop family and some of us are done by dinner time and want to go back to the resort. I know going into this that we need to have enough down time to prevent overload and melt downs. I'm hoping that the weather will be nice a to allow for a good amount of pool time.
We are waiting to tell the kids, so I can't talk much about it out loud. I wanted to share with someone, so here I am.
Awesome, I'm waiting for our June 2022 quote for Universal to come back. I think we're going to go ahead and stay at a premium though so we can get express passes. I've heard lines can be long for some of the big HP stuff and that is the main reason for the Universal trip.
