Thanks for talking me through that in the other thread, lol. We are now confirmed for a standard room at the Poly from March 26 - April 2. We have 6 tickets, no park hopping since we've never seemed to use it much. We didn't buy the travel insurance, since it seems like Disney already has a really good cancellation policy but we could always add it. Huge thanks to TamiTaylor for going over all the pros/cons with me!
So now I have more questions. I know everything is changing all the time, but if you had to guess what do you think Disney will look like in 2022? Think fast pass will be back? Character meetings? My kids will really miss the autographs if they're not, but at least there will be fireworks! I have to make park reservations, which doesn't seem like a huge deal since I'd be planning out dining and everything anyway- but I'm assuming I have a long time before I have to really worry about that. Any crowd calendars you like best recently?

OMG I'M SO EXCITED!
We'll be there at a similar time and I'm also wondering how things will be by then. In a way it's nice not to feel the pressure to plan too much yet. I did make park reservations when I booked because I have a tendency to put things off too long. I might change them though.
I wish I knew. The no fast passes is one of the reasons I’m hesitating for spring 2020.
Honestly not having fast passes made the lines to quicker than the normal standby lines because you were having to stop for fast pass riders. We did not notice anything waits that were longer due to not having a fast pass. And we went at a peak time to visit.

We'll be there at the exact same time. If you need airfare have you looked at it yet? We're coming from Cleveland and right now it's crazy expensive. We're staying off resort this time to try something and so we could use credit card points.

We're nuts and drive from Philly. Lol. 16 hours in one shot. I did look at airfare momentarily to maybe squeeze another day in, but the prices looked insane so we're definitely driving again. I'm really hoping that airfare costs calm down in a few months when things become more predictable (if they ever do), because we do have a lot fo air travel we'll have to do next year between weddings and wedding showers and family obligations, and I can't imagine affording it with how it is right now.
