Jeff Bezos sent a dick pic that cost him billions with a b and then decided to get into space tourism and approximately zero people think that’s evidence that he shouldn’t be in charge of his own decisions. I wonder if misogyny could be at play here?
Well, if it was an album cover, it probably wouldn't have been her decision. 😉
That's the part that grates on me. It's apparently fine if the cash cow is directed by her (male, mostly) handlers to bare her body in her performances she is essentially being compelled to do for their financial benefit, but how dare she get to make similar decisions about her own body, she's clearly an unstable bimbo with no self respect.
Yes.
Also, I'm pro-bimbo. You want to be hot and frivolous? Go for it. It pisses me off that bimbo behavior for Britney somehow means something different than it does for every person who has, for example, used Halloween to wear next to nothing in the name of costuming.

Seriously. If that is the criteria for conservatorship we have a lot of people* running about who have no business controlling their own lives and finances.

My husband once saw a woman on the T wrapped in Saran wrap calling it a Halloween costume. I guarandamntee that woman is not under a conservatorship. Not should she be! But somehow Britney showing the tops of her breasts is proof she’s “unstable”? K, sure.
I spent the weekend at my kid's (and his GF's) new apartment. It's in a college complex. They literally rent apartments there by the bedroom. He was having a birthday ("beerthday?") party at the complex pool. (I can't believe my kids are as old as some of you. Man I was young and stupid and probably should have had a conservatorship based on the Britney criteria.) Every girl there was showing more in their bikinis than Britney was showing in those pictures. I spent the afternoon mourning the loss of my eighteen year old ass.
It irks me to hell and back that those pictures could be held against her as showing a "defective mental state" or some such ridiculousness.
I've followed Britney for a while on Instagram, and its long been speculated someone else is running her account. The latest topless photo has been posted and removed 3 times now, which makes me wonder if she now has more control and is reposting as a big F-U to whomever keeps taking it down. (I realize I'm too invested)

I heard on a celeb gossip podcast that there is a company that runs her social media which definitely makes me go hmm...? Not sure what is the motivation in allowing this post or how it happened.
I think it's extremely likely that she's not posting them herself.
But even if she is, so what? I agree that it shouldn't mean a damn thing about her ability to be in charge of herself. Also, the thought also crossed my mind that if she IS posting them, perhaps it's at least in part about being able to control SOMETHING in her life.
