I realize it's early lol. All episodes streaming on Peacock now. I just watched the first ep and man...Joshua Jackson is nailing it. That cold psychopath stare!
I didn’t know this story had been made into a show. Do you have to have a subscription?
I'm not sure..Peacock is a part of my cable subscription so I was able to just download the app. But I'm pretty sure I read that certain things are free but there is a monthly fee to unlock everything. Not sure if series like this are considered premium content or no.
I'm going to watch- didn't realize it was already on! I know someone who was somewhat involved with the case- being vauge on purpose but I'm interested to see if her "character" will be part of the story.

I might need to subscribe to Peacock so that I can binge watch this. I remember listening to this Podcast while commuting and just being horrified by the content.

I tried to watch last night but they must have just opened today. I'm weirdly excited lol.
Also yeah The Affair was awful, but I hung on until the bitter end. I'm sure you can research spoilers, but I'm not sure it's worth it after maybe season 2, 3 if you're a glutton for punishment.

I think right now it's free, but they're hoping to hook you for when it becomes paid. I read somewhere that below deck might migrate fully to peacock. Right now the enticement is you see the episodes a week early.
I listened to this podcast when it first came out. I'm interested to see the show especially since I've forgotten a lot. They did well with the dirty john transfer from podcast to tv, so I'm hopeful.
I haven't seen it yet but my H was just mentioning it to me yesterday and suggested we give it a try. I don't know why I assumed it was a comedy. Obviously, I was wrong!

I signed up and didn't give a credit card and it's been letting me watch the first few episodes.
Also, I felt this way listening but even more so now watching - I'm really glad I never heard of this guy when I was going through all my back surgeries. I know what all the surgeries are that they've mentioned in it and it's freaking me the f**k out.

OK, dirty john dr death crossover. Christian Slater played Dan Broderick, what I think of as dirty john season 2. So I'll think of this as season 3. It must be done by the same people since the style is so similar, and they used podcasts for inspiration.

I haven't seen the show yet but the podcast was totally enthralling and horrifying.
If anyone is looking for something to listen to after watching/listening to this, the other podcast I listened to that was different but in the same vein was the Shrink Next Door. It's not exactly the same level of WTF as Dr. Death b/c the guy was a psychiatrist -- kind of a different kind of WTF.

cleo did you have to pay to listen the second season? I could only listen to the first episode after that it cost $5 to listen too. Which isn’t bad but just a pain.
I haven’t watched the show, but listened to the podcast. Hospitals who do not report doctors like this should be held legally accountable somehow. It is horrific how much damage he was able to do because the hospital failed to report him in the database.
