My ds is slightly older but wanted some plain shirts. I got some Amazon Basics or Amazon Essentails clothes. They seem to be decent quality and inexpensive. I always check the reviews and sizing info because that varies. Would he like something like these?
Yes! That combines two of his faves…raglan and athletic material. Unfortunately, they don’t have a single option in any size that might work for him.
Bummer. I might search amazon some more. You know how stuff doesn't show up in your searches sometimes? you might find something else or an adult small that might work.
So my ds only wears athletic feeling clothes, but he also doesn't like sports specific or ones with sayings on them. Our favorite places to shop are Old Navy and Target.
Exactly this. I’ve also done surprisingly well at Kohl’s and JCPenney

My 12 yr old DS likes plain shirts or very small logos. I found the best plain shirts at JCrew's outlet. They had plain pocket ts and even plain wicking shirts that have all held up well and they are super soft.

We’ve run into this problem too. He does like athletic shorts only. He will wear solid polo tees, some old navy (he has two that have a little tie dye), plain athletic shirts. He’s gotten into surfing and skating lately so he is liking the surf tees like someone mentioned above - quicksilver, volcom, Santa Cruz, billabong, O’Neill. They’re more than I would prefer to spend
af1212 I’d stopped getting my stick fix a few years ago because they weren’t really giving me what I wanted but you reminded me they did kids too. Just got a stitch fix for my 10 year old son and everything was awesome. He got joggers and loads of long and short sleeve T’s that don’t have any branding (or very minimal). Since we kept everything with the discount I think he got 10 things for about $100.
gastro I’m glad you posted even though it wasn’t to me- ha. My DS is so hard to shop for and can’t figure out a style and my DD loves StitchFix but I didn’t know anyone who bought it for their boy. I think I might try it as he is ready for a new size anyway. Thanks!

32 degrees has some solid athletic wear that Ds likes (4th grade) but most of his stuff is adidas, under armor, Nike, puma, etc.
I also loaded up on graphic tees at old navy. They don’t say anything negative or snarky or projecting. I think most just have a thing on it like planets, dinosaurs, palm trees, beach, skateboards, etc. One does say “awesome” but it was $2 on sale and was super soft so it came home with us.

DS is going into 4th grade. He's ok with character clothing (Pokemon, Mario, Minecraft, Star Wars, etc.). He also practically lives in athletic-type clothing, and we found a good selection at Kohl's. We also shop a lot at Old Navy and Target.
