I'm in the market for 2 different things and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.
1) I need a new vacuum. I currently have a Hoover Linx cordless downstairs to just sweep up quick messes in the kitchen and living room, and then a Eureka something-or-other (cheap, whatever Walmart had like 5 years ago) as my main vacuum. Both of them are not great. The Hoover was fine for a few years but I have to keep taking it completely apart because stuff keeps getting caught in the tube, and then it won't suck. I prefer not to keep doing that. I would like to get ONE vacuum to replace both of these if possible. We have mostly hardwood floors so we just vacuum the rugs and sometimes crumbs in the kitchen. I would prefer cordless. I also like hose attachments to sweep up crumbs in the corners of rooms and dust on baseboards. Anyone have any recommendations? I don't want to spend probably more than $200-250?
2) I'm also looking for a new face moisturizer. Every single moisturizer I use leaves my face feeling sticky afterward and I hate it.
Appreciate any recommendations! Anyone else have anything they're looking for?
I have a recommendation for those with fine wavy/curly hair wanting a curl creme. I just started using this Kristin Ess curl cream and, so far, I really like it.

Thank you for this rec! I'm just starting to explore the wave in my very fine hair and have tried the Kevin Murphy spray, the one Leeham Rimes suggested and Moroccan Oil's curl cream. And all are ok, but I'm still looking for my truly HG product so I'll give this one a try too.
Any recs for a steam mop or something easy to mop my floor with? Something lightweight and easy for my kitchen.
Don't get a steam mop. You have to use distilled water or else the heating elements will be full of limescale. Even with that, the thermostat only lasts 1-2 years. It doesn't lift up dirt either. I just use a Swiffer with the wet pads (generic brands work great too).

Have you tried a sea salt spray? A cream might be too heavy for your fine hair. I really like Not Your Mother's.

Yeah, the ones I've tried tend to make my hair too dry and more frizzy than the creams do. But maybe I haven't found the right one of those.

I have been using it for about 2 weeks. I noticed reviews saying that it made some people’s hair greasy but I have not had that issue. I let my hair air dry and it doesn’t make it crunchy while it’s drying like most creams do (B&B curl cream does this) but it defines my wave/curls very nicely. And it’s half the pricr of Bumble & Bumble. ETA: not only is my hair fine but it is thinning and this does not weigh it down.

I agree with this. I got a steam mop based on how much my bff loved hers, and I loathe using it. I feel like swiffers get the floor more clean.
I also hate my Shark vacuum.
I've had a TON of vacuums, and the only one I've ever loved is my dyson hand-held trigger vacuum. I walk around with it on all floors of our house and use attachments to do small area rugs and furniture, and I only break out my beast of a shark to do the big area rugs or carpeted rooms.

I've seen recs here before for a lash serum that's as good as the R&F one. I'm running out of that and want to switch to a less expensive brand. Who's tried one that works?

I also have pretty fine wavy/curly hair and I recently bought something called Uncle Funky's Daughter Curl Defining Gel from Target and it really works well for me. It doesn't get crunchy and doesn't seem to weigh my hair down much. I wash, "plop" in a microfiber towel for a bit, then scrunch the gel into my hair and let it air dry. Highly recommend!

Grandelash is ok, I personally prefer revitalash and try to buy a year's worth during the Nordstrom anniversary sale.
I'm searching for an anti-aging eye serum/cream that won't make me break out. I had been using the Philosophy Time in a Bottle eye serum for a couple years with no issue, and then all of a sudden about 6 months ago, any time I used it I would develop red itchy patches under my eyes. Sort of defeats the purpose of an anti-aging cream.
So, any suggestions for an anti-aging eye cream/serum for sensitive skin?
I just researched vacuums bc we needed one and I landed on a Miele bagged canister vac. It’s more than your budget, but I am tired of replacing vacuums. This should last for years and years - my sister has one that is 13 years old and is like new. I’ve had it less than a week and it’s amazing. Great on hard floors. 10/10 would recommend. I ordered from Costco.
Consumer reports also rated Kenmore vacuums highly - they are closer to your budget.

I am kind of shocked at how powerful this vacuum is given that it was $80 on Amazon — eureka NEU182A PowerSpeed Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner, Lite, Blue It sucked up stuff from my rugs that my old one hadn’t touched in months, both disgusting and satisfying
I use the Differin moisturizer, it’s lightweight and not sticky at all

I’m using GrandeLash and it really works, I’ve even gotten (unsolicited) compliments. It did go through an initial spidery phase but now they are long and thick. It’s $60 I think, how much is R&F?
As far as soliciting recommendations, does anyone have one for a curling iron (with a clamp)? I’m trying to do these youtube tutorials and am so bad at it
**ETA I just got another random compliment last night. This has been one of the best things I’ve done beauty-wise
I feel like Swiffer vs. steam mop cleanliness must have to do with the type of floor you have, or how old it is, or something. We have 3 different linoleums and when we use a wet swiffer the floor looks clean-ish, but I think it feels filmy or something on my bare feet, and that looks and feels significantly cleaner when we use our steam mop.
That said, our first steam mop did just stop working after about 2 years, it just stopped turning on. I contacted Bissell and they replaced it for free, and the replacement has been going strong for 5 years. (It did appear to be redesigned slightly though.)
This is the one we have: www.amazon.com/dp/B0091YYUAM?tag=bissellcleani-20 I don't use distilled water, and it even says the reservoir can be filled at the sink, which I take to mean with tap water. My biggest complaint is that it's super unstable, so you have to be careful when you plug it in so that it doesn't come crashing down onto the floor.

Same! Swifter just makes my floor gross. I have the same steam mop and I do buy and use the distilled water. I have it set up as a subscribe & save. I only go through a bottle about every 3 months. But I only steam mop in between cleaning lady visits. I’m sure YMMV depending on how often you mop and how much floor you have.
