We are heading to Myrtle Beach in a few weeks for the first time since 2017 and that was a short visit so please hit me with your MB recs. Bonus if they are:
-outdoors (because COVID-all adults are vaccinated but my kids aren't old enough plus the delta variant is a jerk that doesn't care about vaccines) -in or relatively close to North Myrtle Beach because that's where we're staying -good carryout option (for restaurants)
Kids are 8 and 2-8 year old likes anything active and 2 year old likes anything dangerous and totally inappropriate for her age. So she will be in a stroller or attached to a harness leash (any of you that I am FB/IG friends with will likely not be surprised by this).
For food on the north side, we love Hook and Barrel. They have outdoor seating on the porch and take reservations online. You can order online as well. The food is outstanding. Kids menu too
Right next door is Croissants Bakery. They have cookies, pastries etc for breakfast, but also sandwiches for lunch. All really good. Also have to go orders.
You could check to see if there are any sea turtle related activities. This is the tail end of the nesting season, so a dawn walk might yeild some fresh tracks.
This place had surprisingly good pizza last I was there.
Thanks orval and stemmie! That's a good idea on the sea turtle stuff, my 8 year old would lose.his.mind over that (and tends to be an early riser so being up that early would not be an issue for him).
