35 weeks pregnant and this is my last week of bed rest! After that, I still have to take it easy but won't have to lay flat in bed all day. YAY!
I thought Lauryl was trying to escape on Saturday night. I was having consistent contractions but turns out it was just a false alarm and I am only 1 cm dilated.
Starting tomorrow I will have weekly appointments. Next week I will start getting NST... Exciting stuff!
My Amelia started talking over the weekend. (FB peeps, you updated about it.) She says, "Daddy/Papi, Mommy, Abby, Uhoh, and All Done." Abby is saying "Daddy" but inconsistently. She's really good with the all done signing, though. Last night she told Luis that she was "all done sleeping." They are so funny and love to laugh. Does it get better from here? I can't imagine it getting much better than the fun we had yesterday!
This is my last week on maternity leave and every time I think about it I want to cry. I am enjoying staying home so much and I am going to miss my girls during the days (I will also miss my afternoon naps as well!)
Madeline turned two months yesterday. She is such a wonderful baby! I am so lucky! She sleeps 6-7 hours straight and is so happy during the day. She naps really well and is finally taking the bottle like a champ.
We took MacKenzie to the zoo for the 2nd time this weekend and she had a blast! She loved all the animals and LOVED LOVED the water area. My mom got family seasons passes so we can go anytime we want. We are also going for the preview nights of ZooBoo this weekend. MacKenzie is going to dress up in her costume (Minnie Mouse). I went a few years ago and it was so much fun!
I will post a few pics of Maddie's monthly pic and MacKenzie at the zoo when I get back from picking MacKenzie up from pre-school!

Bleeding started to become a little less consistent over the weekend. I'm hoping this means the SCH tear is almost healed up. Guess I'll know more when they do my anatomy scan on the 5th. I'm excited to hopefully find out if we're having a boy or girl, but I would be ecstatic to get a good report on the tear.
I cleared out the room that will be the nursery this past weekend. I had been storing an obscene amount of work items in there (because having it empty reallly bothered me). I just need to do the closet, which is chock full of totes and totes of my husband's old baseball cards (as in 7 totes - no joke). For now I'm just going to move them to a closet in one of the guest rooms, but I wish I had an idea of something to do with them other than keeping them in a closet.
I feel like crap. Awful allergies, making me nauseous and I can't sleep. Yay!
Next dr appt tomorrow, but a boring one I think.
My 16 week was a pretty boring appointment. They took blood, did the normal weighing, peeing in a cup and blood pressure thing. Then they listed to the heartbeat on the doppler and asked me if I had any questions

It doesn't seem possible that Kennedy is already 19 months. She's still got a smile that will melt your heart, but with the approach to turning two, her divatude, as I call it, is showing through more and more. She's still taking a few steps at a time and we're working hard to turn that into walking, as well as working on her speech. She's so much fun and loves to go places. I'm really excited for our next vacation and all the fun things we have planned.
Caleb is already 7 weeks. Again, no idea how that's possible! He's growing so fast, and is really starting to smile more, and is cooing away. He has a new love for his monkey bouncy seat. I need to find some really good light up musical toys for his car seat to make our drive to NC more pleasant for everyone. He's already outgrowing his 3 month stuff, so I'm really excited to see how big he is at his appointment in a few weeks.

Well, I had my 24 week appointment Friday and did the sugar test. It wasn't as bad as expected, but it was very sugary (if that's a word). They said I should know today if I passed. No phone call yet, so that's a good sign! I bought my first pair of maternity pants yesterday and I'm loving them!! So comfy! I was wearing one of those belly bands and it started to get pretty uncomfortable. Other than that, everything is goin ;Dg good. I'm still down 5 pounds
Amelia is crying in her crib right now and it breaks my heart but she's so tired and ready for a nap and I need to eat and drink some water. She'll fall asleep, just not without a fight. And if she doesn't by 1:04 her dad will go in with a bottle. She did great at the YMCA nursery today for 40 minutes. She's getting so big so fast.
Amelia and I got to see Moonstone and her bump for a few minutes today and we're very excited for the next WCF baby!!

Stephanie, so glad you are done with bed rest today. What wonderful news. And Heather, I really hope your tear is finally almost healed. Aly, feel better!
Maisy's checkup went great last week, and I was worrying over her speech unnecessarily. The doctor does want me to continue encouraging her to say the words she does know how to say when she chooses to gesture or sign them instead, but other than that, nothing is a concern. She has even actually added several more words since her dr viisit, but the very best was this morning, she told me "love you!" Heart swoon.
And Beckett, who had the most amazing manners as a young toddler, which he sadly lost along the way, has become very polite once again. He is careful to remember to start his requests with "please may I" and we've even been getting "yes ma'am/sir" and I'm not even sure if we're he got that from! Now if only we could master better listening skills!

I know I've said it before, but I really love this age! Zoe loves giving us hugs and "nose kisses" and is such a little mimicker. She is such a little ham and you never know what she is going to say or do next. Last night she waved at the moon and said, "night night." Cutest.thing.ever!!
Pregnancy wise, I am started to get a little more energy, thank goodness!!! I had a mild stomach virus over the weekend that knocked me down a bit, but I am fine today. I still have 2 weeks till my next appt. Time is going by sooooo slow!

40 weeks pregnant here. No timeable contractions, though had some blood Sunday morning and cramps through stomach and back on Friday night. Nothing consistent though. My due date has come and gone. Womp, womp.
I go back to the midwife tomorrow and will get an internal to see what's up down yonder.
We closed on our house today. I'm never buying another house again. That was a horrible experience. Thankfully it's all done, though the roof approval needs to happen at an HOA meeting tomorrow night. Once that's approved, I can officially relax.

Things are good here! D will be 13 weeks on Thursday and 3 months on Friday! It goes waaaay to fast!!!
I go back to work on Monday but only 3 days a week and we will have a nanny at home and I will be home, so it should be good. I think it will be a good break for me and hopefully he will be ok with it too! I'm thankful for being able to go back part time though!!!
D is a smile machine these days. He has a new found love for his "lovey". We are close to being down to 1 feeding a night. He usually wakes up around 6 and we try to give him the binky until about 7, today we got up at 6:45 but I'll take it! He LOVES bath time and I can't wait to be able to take him to the pool.
I'm ready to try for #2 but haven't gotten DH on board yet. I'll pick my battles though. I know we will have another one soon enough!
Moon - Can't wait to hear your update today! Congrats on the house and good luck w/the HOA.
Heather - Truly hoping that is a good sign and you can put that damn SCH behind you once and for all!
Mia is doing good, I just love her little personality as it emerges more and more. She has decided she doesn't really want to eat solids now. I'm not going to force the issue, I'll just keep trying every few days until she's ready again. I "guess" that's the right answer to the situation. Anyone else have their baby eat solids and then not?

I started Zoe at 6 months and she would take them here and there, but really wasn't interested in eating them regularly till she was around 8 months old. Just see what happens every few day or every week and she will eventually eat them.
