Using the search function it seems like it has been a while since anyone asked, but what did you do about your diastasis recti? I know people usually say see a pelvic floor PT, and I can, but that will probably take weeks to get a referral and appointment, etc. Has anyone used Every Mother? Would a 3 month subscription be a good place to start? I am about 6 weeks PP, and didn’t have this with #1, so this is new ground.

I did 4 months of PT right before Covid and while it did make my gap smaller/shallower, it didn't improve the appearance I should try Mutu or something, I suppose. Part of me wants to just fix it with surgery, but part of me is scared.

My diastases recti wasn’t bad but my pelvic floor was weak and I couldn’t control it. I got in to PT very quickly and it worked great. I follow several great Instagramers for diastases recti and postpartum exercises.
I got a referral to pelvic floor PT from my OB at my 6 week follow-up. I think I was able to see them within 2 weeks of getting the referral. I know it was before my maternity leave was over. I would call your OB and ask for the referral, you may be surprised at how quickly you get in. It was covered by my insurance too, so just a $20 copay for each visit.
