The notes were released to Congress this week and made public on Friday — further evidence of the pressure Trump brought to bear as he sought to throw out President Biden’s election victory.

I'd like to point out that career government employees aren't stupid. They don't have to take notes. They know that notes are subject to FOIA. So, when they take notes they'd better be sure they're necessary, accurate, and (if they're a lawyer and they DON'T want them disclosed in the newspaper) privileged OR like, maybe you want the truth documented.
In any event. Confirming what we all knew already.

I’m just a state worker and it is hammered into us what is subject to FOIA and what isn’t. And we all know what not to put in writing.
I said all along it would be the career government workers who would hold things together
