Thank you everyone!! We are getting more excited every day. Bing has this cool breed guess thing and when I put in his pics it came back: Vizsla Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Golden Retriever
So the vizsla guess was a good one! The other retriever ones seems pretty spot on too. He’s coming from down south and he and his brothers were surrendered by the owner (presumably of the mother) to a high kill shelter as “unwanted”. I guess I’ll get more info when we pick him up!
I’d wager he doesn’t have Vizsla in him. He has a red nose, but his body type, coat and color don’t match. My parents have owned Vizslas for decades.
I’d be surprised too - my neighbor has one and he’s much more sleek and less wide. Plus they aren’t common and pretty specific (as in not really romping around the streets impregnating randos). It’ll be fun to see this guy grow!!

Our puppy is a duck toller and I will say that she looks nothing like your pup except a bit for the colouring. Will try to attach photo when next on my computer.
ETA: I'm surprised nobody guessed lab from the build. You pup looks like what you might get if you crossed a golden lab with a toller but got 90% lab looks.

OMG SO CUTE!!!!!!!
I'm 3 years removed from puppy but I remember being really sad some days (WHAT HAVE I DONE TO MY SUPER EASY AND PREDICTABLE LIFE?!?!?) but our pup has been a wonderful addition to our life.
In the early weeks just crate any time you can't keep both eyes on him and take him out often. Consistency is key. Our electric fence was 1400 for a 1/2 acre rectangle. We got a camera so we could see what the puppy was up to when we were out (spoiler alert - he always slept!!)

I am already envisioning the loss of sleep and my clean house! I also have a camera ready!

You never know! We got ours at barely 10 weeks and she slept through the first night and every night ever since!
Oh wow that's an interesting guess! The coloring is spot on and so are the ears! Our neighbor has a vizla and boy can he run! I was hoping to make him into a jogging buddy when he's old enough so that would be fun
The little smug smirk is also very Vizsla. lol He's a chonky little cutie!

I will admit, I hired a cleaning person to come every other week after we added the dog. I couldn't keep up with everything! The middle of the night potty breaks only lasted a couple days in our house but they sucked!!!

That puppy is gross and I would never steal it, I mean adopt it. Okay, you got me. It's super cute and I want to steal your puppy. Best of luck. Puppies are so much work, but totally worth it.

He's so cute! Arrow looked a fair amount like him as a puppy and she turned out to be part golden, part Catahoula. Since he's from down south, Catahoula could be a reasonable guess.

First- PUPPY! Cute!!!
Second- Specific hardwood floor cleaner for pet messes. That smell will seep into wood quickly if you let it, so stay on top of it. I had a giant bottle with a spray nozzle from Nature's Miracle for my elderly pups.
