Friday: Off Saturday: 40+ mile road ride. 30 of it was part of a charity ride, and I pulled a couple of triathlete about 65% of the way. The rest was cooldown/social with said riders on the newly paved rail trail in that town. Sunday: 27 mile gravel ride.
BQ: With a pool, but I don't readily have access to one. I usually rinse my arms, legs, and face off with water from my cooler that I keep in the car when I got to ride. Also, the car's AC on blast.

Friday: Barbell Medicine's The Bridge, Week 7, Day 3 (hit a 185 lb deadlift!) Saturday: off Sunday: The Bridge, W8D1 + GPP1 (sometimes I double up on lifting and conditioning to save other time during the week). Hit a 150 lb squat! And just for fun I tried lifting a 100 lb sandbag and got it to my chest.
BQ: I don't know but I do enjoy the cold of the fridge when I open it afterward.

Fri: 4 mile walk Sat: 4 mile run, plus what felt like 100 miles walking around while running errands Sun: 7 mile run, plus 2 mile walk
BQ: in my car with the AC blowing on me. I know that sounds weird, but I usually have to drive somewhere to do my outdoor runs and it is so refreshing on the drive home to be in my AC’d car. I also have “cooled” seats, so that’s an extra bonus. And then when I get home, I like to immediately have a popsicle 🙂
New over here and trying to get back into the swing of a fitness routine. I've committed to the #hardcoreonthefloor Peloton group and want to get back into running after a long time off.
Sunday:10 min. core, 10 min. pilates, 20 min. yoga flow
I like to swing in my hammock with some ice water or nuun after a summer workout.
Friday- some stretching and resistance band work Saturday- same as Friday- Had a memorial service to attend and then on the way home from that I found out someone else had passed away, so I was too upset to do more. Sunday- was supposed to run 5 miles.. then my friend invited me to a bar so unless picking up bottles of beer counts as anything... I did nothing.
I like swimming, cold gatorade or just being in AC!
Fri - walked about 1.5 mi w DH Sat - swam 120 laps Sun - ran 3 mi w/ DD1 BQ: A shower doesn’t always cool me off but is mandatory ASAP when I’m done working out.
Fri: 20 min run + strength/HIIT cardio Sat: 60 min Peloton cycle (I got a shoutout on my 300th ride. It was Jess King's Sweat Steady from Saturday. I don't get caught up in the hype, but I have to admit it was fun!) Sun: 18 mile outdoor bike + 30 min walk + house cleaning. I was spent.
you know i can't remember to save my life? When people say "if it's not on the garmin, it didn't happen" they're usually joking, but for me that is real life. So...allow me to consult my devices and...
Friday - crappy evening run walk. H had to go into the office early so I missed my morning run to take his kid duty slot and had to run afterwork, which I despise and despises me back. Mostly briskly walked 3 miles. Was supposed to have been an hour run. Saturday - Hour trainer ride, 1 mile open water swim Sunday - glorious 5 mile run that made up for the shit of friday. Should have done 6, but my run buddies had places to be and afterward my iced coffee was calling my name.
Bonus Q - current cooldown routine after friday and sunday runs is iced coffee. Plan run routes to end at coffee shop. It makes me so happy.
