Worked out 18/31 days 😩 Hiked 2.4 mi, walked 4 mi, ran 9 mi, biked 61.2 mi, weights - 16 exercises x2, yoga 1x, swam 562 laps (~7.8 mi)
It was varied, but July was my slowest month in a really long time, for a number of reasons. The knee pain was the big one, but also travel where I was the only adult, and restarting full time work - still getting the balance with that.
My knee is feeling a lot better fortunately. In August, I’d like to keep moving more consistently.
Moving really took up a lot of my time and energy in July. I'm SHOCKED I managed to still get that many run miles in. I sold my spin bike part way thru the month due to moving, so I only got a couple spin sessions in.
My goal for August: run more than July. That's it. Nothing difficult. Just do more. So far, I'm off to a good start!
Run:47.9 which is the most since January Walk: 10.1 Strength: 15 which is unheard of for me!
Goal: I’ve lost 5-6 lbs so far. I’d like to lose another 5-10 by fall. I’m trying for a pull up-maybe by December. I’m doing the 75 Hard Challenege, which is controversial but right for me.
Run: 55.9 miles. Which was slightly less than June but I was gone for a week in St. John on vacation. I should start recording my walking too - also so that my Garmin doesn't tell me that I've got Low Aerobic Shortage or whatever dumb message I get cause it thinks I'm working out too hard (3 runs a week is not too hard).
Goal is to keep my mileage close to where it is, possibly adding 1 short 3 miler a week and then start working on speed by mid month. Which is like...next week. Oy. Would love to lose some of this pandemic weight but not trying very hard on that. And I started drinking a little bit for the first time in 10 years so that's not helping.
Finally. FINALLY! After a year and a half of on/off injury, I'm finally getting my mileage back up. Now I just need to get my pace back to what it was...
