Ours is Benjamin Moore's Cotswold on the top:
and Etiquette below the chair rail:
Sorry, it doesn't photograph well but is a really great color in person! Twice I've had people ring my doorbell to ask me what color it was because they saw it through the window. :-)
The neighboring rooms are Benjamin Moore Pashmina, Pale Oak, and Sand Dollar (we have more color in other parts of the house):
The dining room is the darkest of our grey/beige/greige colors, but I love it because the trim really stands out crisply against it. We have crown molding in addition to the chair rail.
Twice I've had people ring my doorbell to ask me what color it was because they saw it through the window. :-)
This is quite literally one of the weirdest things I've ever heard. I can't imagine having the balls to ring someone's doorbell to ask about anything I saw through their window!
My old DR was SW Sea Salt/Oyster Bay. I liked it, except that I felt like the colors felt a little cold in winter, and despite what my realtor's photographer would suggest, it was not a well lit room.
I'm still in the process of painting my new one, but it's SW Rainwashed. Just one chip bluer/warmer than Sea Salt.
I'd have liked a little bluer still, but I wanted to use the panel curtains again (there are entirely enough other things I need to buy for the new house) and Rainwashed was about as blue as I could go with the aqua stripe in them.
ETA: The kitchen and foyer are the two adjoining rooms, and they are both SW Worldly Gray.
Ours is BM Pale Sea Mist. It looks nothing like the online swatch (or even the physical one) once on the wall. We basically painted it the same color as our old dining room because we liked it so much.
Here's the online swatch, but also an online photo I found of a room where the color looks more like what I think my dining room looks like. I guess I think of it as sort of a celery green with yellow undertones.
We are having ours painted SW Artichoke. I like a deeply saturated color in the DR. Our second choice is Privilege Green (same strip as Rock Garden above). Our DR is always shaded so colors read deeper in there.

Ha, I know, we're in a friendly neighborhood but it's still weird that it happened twice!
Thanks ladies we are thinking BM Yorketown Green we have white crown molding. Im leaning towarss keeping bottom of chair rails white and top half Yorketown Green
SW Watery 6478, which is a a perfect match to the rims on my late aunt's MCM china which lives with me now. Below the chair rai and trim are white. Before that it had been a deep avocado green.

Right now it is a medium taupe (shared wall with living room) and a silvery sage (shared wall with kitchen). They are Behr paint from 15 years ago. We will repaint in a few months when we have our kitchen done. Not sure what we will use yet, maybe a pale gray.

We had something really similar in the entryway and powder room at our last house. White below the chair rail and a deep greenish teal above. I approve!
maudefindlay, I just noticed the SW Opaline is on the picture that you posted and I can't believe how green it reads. That's the color we used in my LR/DR and depending on the lighting, it reads it either gray or blue. My mind is blown!
sb, oh that's lovely! looks so great with your blue chairs. What is your living room? also love that one and it might be perfect for DD's bedroom (I need to pick colors by tomorrow, eek!)

Thank you! That's Clare Headspace. I really love it. It's a nice blue without being baby blue.
