On my morning walk yesterday I realized one of the houses in my neighborhood has a peach tree (Not super common in a Chicago suburb). It reminded me of hisno1girl with the peach tree that her stepdaughter (I think?) messed around with. Made me wish I could send her some peaches.
I went to her profile to look back and see how long she’s been gone. It’s been almost 4 years. Crazy how much of an impact an Internet stranger can make.
Then I scrolled back to see if today’s date was anything significant. She had been in the hospital 2 weeks, and still had enough fight to cuss out the racist person she had to share a room with.

I think of her often! I think it was the step daughters husband that took all the peaches? Like, they were living in the home temporarily or something. I miss her, and hope her family is doing well.

That woman was spectacular and loved so hard. She was an inspiration and is so missed. I remember her asking for prayer requests every year. You know so many people will say they are praying for you, but I am sure that she really did.
I'm mostly a lurker, but I was just thinking about her too. My husband recently got a CLL diagnosis and I was going back through her posts because I remembered that her husband had that as well. Reading her old posts reminded me of what a beautiful soul she had. You could tell that everyone in her life was blessed to know her.

She was a great person. At least here on the interwebs, anyway

I miss her. I remember her telling me to always let my mom braid my hair, no matter how old I was, because she missed having her mom do the same. So every time I go home, I ask my mom to braid it at least once during the trip. It's something so small and a thing most adult women wouldn't ask for, but I make a point to do it.

Peaches, honey crisp apples, the Detroit Tigers and hot priests. All these things make me think of V. Oh and Our Lady of Lourdes. I still say the novena every year 💕

Yes, the honeycrisp apples! A local orchard put out that those were coming ripe in the next few weeks and I immediately thought of her. She was a lovely person. I hope she's now where she so faithfully believed she would be after passing, but I certainly miss her presence here.

I think of her often. She lived nearish my MIL so when we drive through His’s city I think of her. I hope her H is doing well. I know he had a chronic illness. And her kids and her preemie grandbaby. I hope all her loved ones are doing well.

I said it long ago in a post about her. Way back when I started on these boards (and had time to post more), I had just moved close to her. I was so lonely for my family back home. She personally reached out to me. It warmed my heart to know that someone close by cared about my lonely breaking heart. She will always hold a dear spot to me for her kind note and words.
She was such a special woman. Even in her most trying times, she radiated warmth and love. I was incredibly lucky to have met her. I miss her. The world misses her.

More than once I have threatened to pull my husband's leg hair. More than once he has responded "where the hell did you come up with that one?" I smile.
