DH and I had it at the beginning of August. We were both vaccinated which I'm sure led to lesser symptoms. Neither of us ever had a fever. I felt like I had really bad allergies/bad cold for about 3-4 days, DH had really bad body aches. Like so bad he said his hair hurt. But they too just lasted about 3 days. He never lost taste/smell, my taste/ smell was wonky for about a week but is normal now. I hope you guys feel better soon!!
DH had it in March - so before we could be vaccinated. His fever lasted 3 days. He got it from my sister and BIL. Each of them had fevers for 3-4 days as well.
My husband and I got it early March 2020. We had a fevers for at least a week and half. H was hospitalized. The exhaustion lasted longer. This was before there was a vaccine and knowledge was still new.
Just had it a few weeks ago and am vaccinated. I had about a 100 fever for 5 days. Felt fine all day, but would end up with a 100 fever by late afternoon every day. I was able to work every day and only Day 2 was really tired. Only had a cough for a day, then it turned into sinus. Lost taste and smell mid-week and it slowly came back about 2 weeks later. I'm fine now about 3 weeks out. No idea where I got it, but I live in a city, so I'm around people all the time.
Several days for us. My symptoms were a lot like you’re describing. We both thought we were having terrible vaccine side effects, as my first shot was a Wednesday & his was Friday, but when he was so sick the following Tuesday night that he could barely get up off the floor we took him to the ER. Turns out we were both positive & he had to be admitted. Thankfully my symptoms were relatively mild (possibly due to my shot helping some?), but he spent five days in the hospital.
So sorry you’re all going through it too! Hoping you are over the worst of it!
I have it right now. Started Weds last week and I was very very ill Thurs-Sat. Sunday I felt much better and now I just have a dull headache, I’m still tired and I have the loss of taste/smell which I am told will last the longest. The worst was only 3 days but it sucked.

I never had a fever … just awful sinus congestion, fatigue and body aches. The only reason I got tested was bc my doctor wanted to rule out COVId before prescribing me antibiotics for what we thought was my annual early March sinus infection.
Dx'd with Covid. It went through the family fast, like a train. We can't figure out where we got it from though.
I feel like I have a bad flu, the worst is the fever that comes and goes.
DS and DD symptoms seemed to have lasted 4 days...
We're all physically exhausted.
I know everyone is different, but how long does the fever last in adults?
We all had it in March. I got sick Sunday and dh got sick Monday and the kids by Monday night. Within 3 days all the cold/flu symptoms were gone, no fever, no more cough etc.the exhaustion lasted about 2 weeks.

Feel better!
I never had covid (as far as I’m aware) but the fever thing varies so much based on family and friend experiences. My mother had it in April 2020 and nearly died and not once at the hospital or at home did she spike a fever at all. So bizarre.
I had it and my fever never went about 99 something but for me that’s a fever. I felt terrible for about 5 days and then slowly started feeling better. The exhaustion lasted the longest and that and the brain fog lasted a few weeks to a month. I hope you’re feeling better soon!!

If you were vaccinated when you got COVID, can you compare what the symptoms were like compared to the side effects of getting the vaccine. I didn’t get a fever with the vaccine but got horrible body aches for 3 days. My husband was completely fine after the vaccine.
My husband and I had it last December. He had a low grade fever that lasted 2 days. I had higher fevers (~104 without fever reducers ~101 with) that lasted 10 days before it finally broke. Hope you all feel better soon!
We had it in December. Fevers only lasted a day for us. Sense of smell loss was about 2 months for me, about 2 weeks for DH. I still have parosmia which sucks. Had hair loss starting in March but that has stopped. Thank God for Viviscal.
