Anyone have one of these?
We just bought one, and I'm super excited to get it. I think it should arrive in 2-3 weeks. We had a regular rower (Concept 2) before we moved, but had to get rid of it. Now that we're in a house again, we wanted to purchase another but decided to go for a connected one. I'm really hoping we'll like the classes and features that come with this one.
No, but let me know how you like it. I really want one. Rowing is the one activity that I can actually see myself doing regularly as a home fitness thing.
I went and tried it out at Best Buy, but it wasn’t connected or anything, so all I could do was try out the movement and glide of the seat and pull. It felt good.
I looked into it, but backed out when I found out that the only way it works is via the $40/mo subscription. You can’t get on it and just row, or at least that’s my understanding. If I’m wrong, let me know as that was the reason I backed out. I hated the idea of payin* 4 figures for a rower that requires a $500/year subscription to work.

We just bought a rower off FB marketplace and use RowHouse GO and Apple Fitness for classes. I can't stomach the $40/month subscription for connected classes either.
isabelMoe I'll update once we've gotten it (should be about 2 weeks!) and I've used it a bit. I can't wait.
mich1 I had a hard time with that as well initially. I'll let you know about using it without the subscription, but if you don't plan to use that I don't think the high cost of the machine itself would be worth it. The Concept2 is a great rower mechanically and about half the price. I'm having weight loss surgery within the next couple of months, and so I'm very committed to increasing my activity and decided to go for it, but it was definitely hard to pull the trigger!
