Anyone have any recommendations for timing of meals for Universal? We're going next June for 4 days, 3 days in the parks, one pool day.
Right now my plan was to probably grab something at the hotel for breakfast and get to the parks early. We're staying at the Loews Portofino and will have Express Passes.
Then maybe do a lunch break at the HP restaurants a couple of the park days. Loose plan is early mornings, break in the afternoon, then back in the evenings.

There’s a chocolate-themed restaurant in the City Walk that’s really good. They have epic milkshakes. We ate there twice on our last trip. We also liked the Italian restaurant in the Portofino. I don’t remember the food in the parks being anything special, although the frozen butterbeer is good. We usually ate a quick breakfast at the hotel, and had lunch and dinner at the City Walk or the hotel.

We've gone a couple times and once we stayed at the Portfino.
My kids loved the chocolate restaurant.
We actually really liked the sushi restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. The menu is sushi and Mac and cheese and chicken fingers. They know their audience lolol. H and I and DD had great sushi and DS had Mac and cheese.
We have eaten at the burger and sushi restaurant cowfish in city walk and it was really good.
There is a great sit down restaurant in the park right outside of hairy potter world called Mythos that we really liked as well.
