Ornament exchange 2021

I’ve set the draw date for Oct 15.

The exchange is for a handmade ornament(s) at a value of about $15.

Ornament exchange time is my favorite time of year! I’m a little ahead of normal this year, so don’t panic. It’s still September.

I signed up this year! I'm always nervous about giving my real address out so i have my address listed as the work address of a friend who said it was ok, ha!

Wishlists should just indicate stuff we like, not stuff we actually hope to receive, right? I can't find anywhere to say, "hey i like this kind of stuff" on my profile.

Glad you are joining us!  Yes, use the wishlist to specify your decor themes or if you love an animal or a fandom, but if you're really hoping for a llama ornament, that could be helpful as well. Since all of us are handmaking our ornaments, it's not necessary to link actual items.

I feel obtuse asking this, but it doesn’t look like I can just write that I like stuff. It looks like I have to search for links to stuff. Am I missing something? I just linked some stuff and wrote comments next to some lol. Hopefully whoever picks me can see I am open to a wide range of stuff, enjoy Santa ornaments, Santa gnomes, punny tea towels using song lyrics, peacocks, Labradors and Labradoodles…

I added to mine by adding a link and instead just wrote a short blurb, with no link. But I think what you did is fine.

In the wish list section you can click on ‘More ways to wish’ and then ‘Write in your wish’. There you just get a text box where you can write anything!

Yay, I made it in time! I haven't been posting much because work has been so busy. But I'm super excited because I've been working on a new kind of ornament and I can't wait to make one for somebody!

Canadian Thanksgiving is in the bag so I’m ready for Christmas!!! (Well Halloween, then Christmas). Can’t wait for the draw. I have utterly no idea what I am going to make this year.

I signed up! Hopefully you don’t mind someone who doesn’t post a lot on the craft board (I hate posting pictures haha). Sewing is my current craft of choice but I’ve done my fair share of crocheting as well.
