I've made a bit of headway so far and have pretty good lists for everyone, so I'm just chipping away at it as I see deals.
10 y/o girl: dance gear/accessories, gift cards, pop-its, Bath and Body Works items
7 y/o boy: His birthday is Christmas week, so he's getting a Chromebook for that (picked it up on Prime Day) along with some smaller items. For Christmas, Switch games and accessories, sports gear, a tie-dye sweatshirt, LED lights for his room, Pokemon cards.
4 y/o girl: Kid Fitbit, LOL Glamper, Squishville set, Bluey set, jewelry box, monogrammed beach towel (because she complained she didn't have one...), Pop-It purse, Hello Kitty Squishmallow
My daughter is 5, and is getting a new (well, new to her) bike with gears, which she has been asking for for about a year. We’ll likely get her a few other small things like art supplies and books. I have no idea what she’ll ask Santa for, so that’s TBD. She isn’t into characters or specific brands too much, but starting K this year, that may change.
My daughter who is 6.5 is getting Raya and the Last Dragon Lego sets, books, and a Raya dress up outfit. Not sure what she's going to ask Santa for yet.
My parents are getting her a Wellie Wisher doll she wants and some Wild Kratts figures.
My 94 year old grandmother is the only adult I will be buying for, and I will likely get her a grocery store gift card and make her the holiday biscotti she loves.
I need to figure out something for my niece who will be 9 months old at Christmastime.
I also have the Grogu (baby Yoda) Lego set I'm giving as a family gift for my husband, daughter and I to work on over the winter.

DS is asking specifically for an iPhone 11. On one hand, it would be nice for him to have a way to watch videos in the car and not use our phones, but on the other hand he's 7!!

We bought the nugget for our girls. FYI for anyone who is considering doing so you need to open it within 48 hours of arrival, which I totally missed. I figured it could just hang out in a box in our garage for 2 months. Instead it’s under a blanket it in our basement workroom.

The Fisher Price Crawl around car would be perfect for your niece. My 3 year old got it for her first Christmas (at 6 months) and still plays in it every day. I bought it because I noticed 2 and 3 year olds using it at other people’s houses as well.
She has asked for roller skates, the doll, and an Ulta gift card. We have a lot of family to give lists to so I normally put everything in the $15-50 range on the list for family since I know they like to follow it but that leaves me with nothing, lol.
DS is 8.5 and this is the second year he's said "surprise me" and had zero requests for big ticket items.
DH is interested in an upgraded 3D goggle gaming system. We'll probably wrap that for DS and say it's for him, though it's really a family item. LOL.
I'm actually about to place an order for DS for Christmas in anticipation of shipping delays, product availability issues, etc. - indoor soccer ball (coated in felt for a slow, safe roll for practice inside during the winter) - world's smallest magic 8 ball (he gifted one to a friend, really wants one of his own) - FIFA soccer video game for PlayStation - Mistakes that Worked book - Imhotep Builder of Egypt board game (the one thing he's asked for) - Gravity Maze marble run game - Engino STEM bridge kit - A City Through Time book
Last year I got him his next size of Vans slip-ons, and a pair of flip flops. Things he would be needing in the spring. Surprisingly he was VERY excited with these items, so I will do the same. I guess he's nearing the age where I can gift clothing and shoes and he is happy. Win / win, as I like to have the future size of his shoes on-hand so I can buy them on sale.

What?! Mine arrived a week ago and I was saving until Christmas! Thanks for the heads up, hope I didnt already mess it up.

Yea we opened ours today which was about 4 ish days after we received it. But on the FAQ it says if you leave it in the box for more than 2 weeks you void the warranty and if there’s anything wrong with it - wrong color, etc you need to report it within 48 hours of receiving it. Ours was fine - I’m sure yours will be too!

I just opened it! Now to hide for 2 months =P Thanks again for the heads up.
Things I've ordered since my first post in this thread:
- A good snow tube because cheaper ones always get destroyed after minimal use. We're always at the snow hill looking at other people's enviously, lol.
- A Squishmallow
- That shapeshifting box that keeps getting advertised everywhere

I've never heard of this game before but it looks good for my kids. Do you know much about it?

I don't know much about other than what I read about on Amazon. We've been to Egypt, and I know he designed the Step Period of King Djoser, which we really enjoyed exploring. His name has come up so many times in our schooling (homeschool) and travels, that the game really jumped out when we stumbled upon the game. I know he designed quite a few structures during his time. As part of the game you build some of the structures he's believed to have designed. Seems SUPER COOL, and a great hands-on learning experience. It also has a reasonable play time of less than 1 hours, and can be played with as few as 2 people.
Can you tell me more about the cookbook? Dd1 loves to cook, is 11, but I want to be lazy and not supervise her
The book is awesome! Each recipe is rated from 1 lightning bolt (easy) to 5 (complex.) I think there would be plenty she could do in the book and work her way up to the more complex recipes. There is also a few pages at the beginning about kitchen safety.
The only thing I got my kids was a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. I booked it last Spring for February thinking that was so far away that things would be normal again. I’m just crossing my fingers it’s safe to go by then. We’ve never been before.
For any kids that are into bracelet making Costco has a really nice STMT set that comes with a carrying case. I picked that up for DD today. With that I think she is basically done!
I'm totally buying stuff already for my FOUR Dec/Jan bdays plus Christmas, plus helping grandparents shop! jinkies , Also on the fence about whether or not to try to find Xbox...I am not sure my son really wants it, or just wants a certain game!! I don't know if I could even find one if I tried. Your story is not giving me much hope.
I already have some books, American Girl, Lego stuff, squish mallows, and random little items. Also got a few things back on Prime Day for the little girls. Got cute, fuzzy, hooded lounger thingies from Costco for all the girls, mostly b/c I just think it would be so cute to have them all wear them for a movie night. The two little girls want Barbie stuff again, too.
Am thinking maybe a second hoverboard, since ours was a huge hit with everyone until it stopped working (and I need to fill out form and send it in to company for a replacement!).
Looked at Ezy Rollers last year and might do that this year.
My oldest turns 13 in January and we might get me a new phone and give her my old one, but I think we would wait until January for that. Somewhat strangely, she's not really ASKING for a phone, so I'm not sure.
10 YO DS is very interested in WWII and enjoyed building a model kit this summer, so maybe some model kits.
Had a karaoke mic that was a big hit until it broke so might get one of those again, too.
I'll probably get another snow sled at Costco for someone when they stock them again. They are nice and we could use more.
Do we have a thread anywhere on consumable-type gifts for kids? Stuff that can be used and then isn’t sitting around when they’re done with it?
DD has toys all over the place and still has unopened birthday gifts from June. I suggested a baking kit of some sort to my sister when she asked for Christmas ideas for DD (age 4) - anything else like that?
I may also suggest a zoo membership if someone else asks.
